Creepy collectivist cult in "Occupy Wall Street Atlanta."

Too weird for words.

Look, I was a communist in the late 60s and early 70s and I NEVER saw anything this creepily collectivist.

It looks to me like what a maybe fifth grade teacher would do to keep everyone on task. If they are all engaged they will not start talking among themselves. I would say a teacher started it.

There is a distinctly communitarian feel about the Occupy Wall Street brigade.

ha, It's called "the human microphone" In NYC you need a permit to use a bullhorn in public, technique was adopted to circumvent that

The reason why these people are repeating the speaker's words is that the crowd is very large and even with a bullhorn, people at the back of the crowd cannot hear what he is saying. the crowd closest to the speaker repeats what he is saying and the word passes to the people in the very back of the crowd. Bullhorns are not great sound amplifiers in areas with lots of traffic and other noises.

The government schools have done a great job at dumbing down the sheep. This video is excellent evidence at proving that point about the government schools being used as a political tool first and education second.
The one clear agenda of government schools, this group of people reflect is: They do not have critical thinking skills.

I heard they were doing this in New York and that it is called a human megaphone. They do it so that the whole crowd can hear what the speaker says.

I think most of us were beyond that by the fifth grade. And these people have a better system? WOW... just WOW

I saw a video where they were doing the same chant-and-repeat mind control deal in New York. Pretty strange when the speaker said, "I am Mohammed" and the crowd of white losers repeated back, "I am Mohammed." Then "I am from Egypt," and so on.

It appears to me that this is the only way that these folks are able to understand conversation.

That would mean, well, that would expose, that leftist progressives only have an attention span of a few syllables at a time.

I submi tthat is why they are progressives in the first place. They cannot see the forest through the trees, they cannot see the big picture. Heck, they cannot even understand and entire sentence.

Might this be why they can only view the Constitution in phrases and clauses instead of as a complete document? Might this be why they so fail to understand it in its entirely?

You Betcha.

Being a bit older than Mike, I have been around / hung out with people ranging from the far-right of Genghis Khan to Greenpeace, from Straight Edge to Drugged Out Birkie wearers... I have never, ever seen anything this freakin' weird in my life.
The only thing I could relate to was waving fingers at the speaker... I often wave one when the Kenyan bastard is on a TV near me.

The phrase "Judas Goat" comes to mind for some reason.

Some of them don't like being recorded in their public meeting, confirming their distaste for actual freedom of speech and communication.

John Lewis was one of your fellow Reds and I got no problem with the Stalin-Trotsky fight. I hope they kill each other off.

We are the Borg?

He has bullhorn so the "human
microphone" is just an excuse for collectivist group act and think.

The "human bullhorn" theory actually makes some sense to me.

It still creeps me out, though.

I could only make it about 2 minutes in... that was creepy.

@NoelArmourson - regarding Adam Kokesh, check out this link from Michelle Malkin
Then, to support her article, I was one of those members of the GOE confronting him and his group several times. He's a liar. When he was called that by someone after one of their anti-war rallies in DC, he assaulted the guy (who happened to be walking near the porta-johns with his kid). Kokesh assaulted him, then decided to cry about it after a group of veterans that witnessed it decided to help the guy he assaulted (it just so happens that Kokesh got his ass kicked in the process).

I do not waste my time on Kokesh anymore. Sure, they stopped him from videoing them, and they don't have the right to do that, but Kokesh is a douche.

Human bullhorn explains the chant. So now lets move on to the content of the speaking. Stacked repetition of simliar phrases, and all seemingly coordinated by the stringbean in red.

So in the end, the human megaphone was controlled by him and used to execute his will on the unwilling in the group. "We refuse to act in disaccord, and so we will continue to act according to the agenda set for by the collective."

I thought the best look was on the face of the guy who was supposed to speak. It was like he ran into a race of aliens.

These are the people who will make our lives a living collectivist hell in the near future. Paid for and organized by central bankers, for central bankers. These people will -- with the help of unnamed but supremely well financed government organizations -- eventually find all of our IP addresses and come knocking on our doors to verify our political affiliations and determine if we are a threat to the new collectivist world order.
