Wayne in the Wilderness.

Readers may remember this post from the other day, commenting on this statement by Wayne LaPierre:

“When NRA first began our campaign to fire Eric Holder we were one of just a few voices in the wilderness.”

Well, David Codrea and I both sneered at that. However, some NRA pragmatist took umbrage at our umbrage and provided proof that Wayne had in fact spent time in the wilderness:

Well, I guess that settles that.

TPaine said...: If ever there was a reason tom stay away from the NRA, this is it. Does Wayne think no one knows when and where the SHTF originally? I don't think the NRA knew squat for months before someone tipped them off, and all of a sudden, there's Wayne exposing the travesty and saving the day.

This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can't be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won't be done. The Founders' Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.
