FWIW I faxed Cornyn and Huchinson to ask them please not vote to confirm him.
I figure if he IS confirmed then the revolution gets that much less avoidable. There's a lot of mischief the BATFE can get into before someone in congress (forget the White House) grows a big enough pair to step up to the plate and try and stop them. In the time it'd take to get anything going, they could easily bring about another Ruby Ridge or Waco. I figure that'd be plenty enough to get the rebellion going.
Would taking him out preemptively be a Ft. Sumter-type event?
Please note, I am not advocating the assassination of anyone. Just thinking out loud.
What makes ANYONE think The One will bother to submit the Traver nomination for approval instead of just doing a recess appointment? Do you REALLY think ABCNNBCBS and their dead-tree fellow travelers are going to saying ANYTHING negative about him doing so? I mean, why would anybody imagine they would get wound up like they did for Bush's appointment of Bolton? For after all, Traver is obviously so much more qualified for the BATFE job than Bolton was for US Ambassador to the UN...
For Sedition: It is not nice to treat a horse like that. After all, THEY may be the only long-distance transportation available after The One and his toadies get through destroying the US.
Traver might like that or he might not. I bet "he who would be Da Mare" would.:)
I earned a degree in Corrections a while back. I remember only a few things from my college education, one of which is "If you want to kill somebody and get away with it, use a car."
Please note, I am not advocating the assassination of anyone, either. I, too, am just thinking out loud.

Made myself a nuisance over this and some other ATF issues the other day.
I'm rather tired of begging my government to quit trying to take away the rights I was born with.
What they don't understand is that rights cannot be recieved, they must be claimed.
The reverse is true. Rights cannot be taken, only surrendured.
No doubts Traver will be installed.
Do your worst, pretty boy.

"Fuck Traver with the horse he rode in on."
