A Pragmatist's View of History: The Final Chapter

MostlyGenius, a proper prag, has responded here to my last.

Like most prags (poor henpecked Snowflake comes to mind) trying to pin them down on their own response to further assault on our traditional rights is like trying to nail jello to the wall. They will not give you a straight answer to the pertinent questions. This mercifully short answer to BigBrain's latest is my last until he feels like giving us a straight answer to the $64,000 question.

The World According to MostlyGenius:

World War II was fought inconsistently with some sleight of hand because after being attacked at Pearl Harbor, the United States struck back and carried the war to Japan by means of the Doolittle Raid. This return aggression was inconsistent with defending the homes and families of Americans which the War Department was tasked to do. However, the pragmatists agree that the attack on Pearl Harbor was the "go signal" for opening a wider war, they just wouldn't have done it that way. It is uncertain how they would have done it because they refuse to answer certain pertinent questions.

A Prag's critique of Lexington and Concord:

"I am skeptical that the Minutemen and local militias can actually operate in a maneuver war against the British column because I cannot speak to the skill, readiness and training of the Patriot forces. Of course you won't catch me dead out in woods training myself, but I'm still skeptical of anyone who does. Sam Adams and that Hancock smuggler should stop making trouble and the King's troops wouldn't be out trying to apprehend them. My solution is to do nothing and maybe the Lobsters will go back into Boston peaceably without hurting me. Beside, the Patriots didn't need those cannon to hunt deer with anyway."

More could be concluded from the Prag critique if they would just answer one stinking question:

"What will YOU do when the regime draws the line of 'legality' behind where you now stand?"

Specifically, if they seize control of all private intra-state sales through the "Gun show loophole" will you comply?

Also, if they pass an "AWB with teeth" will you hand in your now-proscribed semi-auto rifles and bolt actions of large calibers? Are you going to just roll over and hand them in? And if you claim that you won't, how will you resist?

Until BigBrain and his kind answer THOSE questions with yes or no answers, everything else they postulate is liquid excrement.

The difference between us is that we Three Percenters can answer those questions unambiguously while the Prags run away from them. The Fudds of course are still seeking their first clue.

Let me repeat my first reaction: We are the Three Percent and this is as far as the bastards are going.

OH PLEASE GIVE ME A BREAK! Mostly(Self Acclaimed) Genius

This fellow obviously is lacking some essential historical knowledge. QUOTE: "Attrition war would probably not work out for you" QUOTE. How about Vietnam? And how about the Soviets in Afghanistan. In fact, one of the main reason for the Soviet Union's collapse was because the Kremlin bigwigs could not handle the staggering losses that the Afghans inflicted on them. The Soviets had tanks and helicopters, while the Afghans fought from homemade chariots and horse carts. Yet, who was the "wrong one" here. I think the Soviets are. They invaded a sovereign country and upset it's domestic affairs and allowed terrorists to get in and take hold.

Back on topic here. Do you think we three percenters like trouble? All we want is to raise our families, have fun with friends and loved ones, and enjoy life as much as we can. If no-knock warrants and Ruby Ridge-type shit gets out of hand, that is clearly a threat to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Our Founding Fathers were wise. They put in the Bill of Rights and especially the 2A because they knew how fragile freedom is.

QUOTE "I am afraid that I don’t really have the time or interest to continue to refute every comment point-by-point. You guys certainly don’t lack for verbiage. I will do my best to summarize and represent what I consider to be the major issues in this discussion. While I recognize this steals some fairness from the process I don’t have time to keep saying the same things to the half dozen people posting comments" QUOTE

Try arguing with someone who is a HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR. I know many people who survived the Holocaust And on top of that, I have actually been to Auschwitz Museum, seen the piles of shoes and clothes FIRST HAND, seen the cobalt blue gas chambers FIRST HAND.

Freedom is free? Uh-uh I don't think so.

Qi Ji Guang,

They will not come after guns if they can help it.

They will do "drug sweeps" and if they happen to find guns? Well then.

Or they will invent some other law.

Like the power to search your home for Illegal Wood

Or a Hate Crimes law.

The line has already been crossed. All that is missing is implementation.

As far as I can tell the Patriots are almost as asleep as the sheeple.

Dudes: you were done in decades ago when most of you backed the Drug War. I tried to tell you but you were not listening. Pity.
