Washington ‘rights’ rally to headline supporter of ‘gun control’ politicians. Folks planning to attend the rally tomorrow in Olympia need to pay attention to this important column from David Codrea.

WA Democrat Brian Blake, headliner for tomorrow's Gottlieb Anti-594 rally (unless they have to compromise on background checks behind your backs, in which case it's a anti-you-finding-out-what-they're-really-about-until-it's-too-late rally).
Synopsis of this David Codrea expose: "I support the 2nd Amendment, but I also help sworn enemies of RKBA get elected. Now everybody cheer and acknowledge me as a gun rights leader!"
If the guy is that great a pal to gun owners, why did he enthusiastically help a committed anti-gunner get elected to Congress? Why did he endorse Denny Heck?
That guy’s rated “F” by Gun Owners of America, meaning he’s an “Anti-Gun Voter: a philosophically committed anti-gunner." Heck voted against prohibiting Washington DC from implementing “gun control,” and has been rated 50 percent by NRA. Heck also supports Obama’s immigration plan to create millions of new anti-gun Democrat voters (as does Blake), and anti-gun Obamacare (as does Blake).
But wait, as the late pitchman Billy Mays used to say, there’s more. Blake also endorsed Bob Dingethal for Congress. That a guy who used the “I’m a gun owner with a big BUT” oxymoron to tell voters how he supports the Second Amendment AND Michael Bloomberg’s registration/confiscation precursor plan, and a mental health blanket dragnet.
In other words, “Who’s infringin’? We’re usin’ common sense.” We’ve heard that type of transparent equivocation before, but this time, it’s not entertaining. . .
Here's the money quote:
Anyone who helps citizen disarmament advocates gain power is no true friend to gun owners and has no business being presented as one. And anyone who politically supports someone playing to both sides of the street likewise relegates gun rights to a lower priority than doctrinaire political and economic special interests. To them, the Second Amendment comes second, or third, or even lower. No amount of pointing out what bills have been advanced or voted on “the right way,” and no amount of “dinner dates” can alter that fundamental reality.
Here's the truth: The prag rally tomorrow is the prelude to compromise. That they present doctrinaire "progressive" Democrats in all areas but the one that would lose them elections as great pals is the final insult to gun owners of principle.
You've got to give David great credit. He tells the truth as he sees it no matter which way it may cut and this column will probably lose him some friends on the Gottlieb side of town and other places as well. They won't be able to refute what he's said, but they'll be pissed off nonetheless. I would guess that David knows that this could cost him more than just fair-weather "friends" too. It could cost him chances to earn his living. Yet he's not holding back here, he's calling it like he sees it. That's real guts, but then anybody who thinks that he does this stuff to be universally agreed with hasn't been paying attention.
If you're one who does agree, please help spread the word on this -- send the link everywhere. You can also support David's work by making his Examiner column a daily stop. This writer's hope is that there will be a 'no compromise" contingent in tomorrow's gathering who have little patience for bullshit and will call out the speakers on their compromises, past, present and future. I mean, tell us now, are they for repealing I-594 or have they given up that fight? Gottlieb? WAFLAG? NRA? Tell us now. Not later. TELL US NOW!

Benedict Arnold was a hero at one time and he did many good things for the cause;

Born in Connecticut, Arnold was a merchant operating ships on the Atlantic Ocean when the war broke out in 1775. After joining the growing army outside Boston, he distinguished himself through acts of intelligence and bravery. His actions included the Capture of Fort Ticonderoga in 1775, defensive and delaying tactics despite losing the Battle of Valcour Island on Lake Champlain in 1776, the Battle of Ridgefield, Connecticut (after which he was promoted to major general), operations in relief of the Siege of Fort Stanwix, and key actions during the pivotal Battles of Saratoga in 1777, in which he suffered leg injuries that ended his combat career for several years.

But when he went to far and committed treason he became a traitor!

Now our very own Gottlieb has done many good things also but when does he go too far and also become a traitor?

IMHO his compromises with the enemies of gun rights on back ground checks and soon to be smart guns legislation makes him a traitor.

Traitors should be hung not followed!

FUDDS arent friends. They are the enemy within. They don't defend "hunting". They present themselves as "hunters" to gain some form of legitimacy.

We must stand up and tell the truth. David did good here. In the end he will gain more friends and lose more enemies posing as friends.

Instead of trying to blur the line, we must DEFINE IT and then bear witness, HONESTLY, who stands on which side of it. David did both. Well done!

"in which case it's a anti-you-finding-out-what-they're-really-about-until-it's-too-late rally"

This applies so well to Gottlieb, and how he didn't want us members of JPFO to know about his plan to absorb and take over JPFO. We wouldn't have known about it beforehand if it hadn't been for Claire Wolfe blowing the whistle on Gottlieb.

Gottlieb has obviously decided to follow in the NRA's footsteps of hiding the truth, compromising our rights away piecemeal, and acting like a telemarketer in his pursuit of money from people who think he actually has an interest in fighting for our rights. He has accomplished some good things in the past, but now he is simply an NRA fanboy.
