David Codrea asks: Are you a JPFO force multiplier?

If you’ve been sitting in the pews listening, come on up and add your voice to ours. Or at least put a few bucks in the collection plate.
Take the time to read the whole thing and don't just react to the headers, please.

David answers his own point of order- to a cretain extent. Why does the NRA seem "stuck" around that 4 or 5 million mark? Well, that has to do with people joining, giving money and/or time and seeing the backroom dealing and compromise that amounts to needless concessions that harms more than it helps. It's not so much apathy as it is frustration... People get fed up about being treated as a cash machine that is supposed to shut up- do as they are told and not dare make waves for the "higher ups".

It's the exact same scenario playing out with the Republican Party today. Folks reach a point where they say "no more" . Fed up.

The merger may have been a life support for them but SAF is losing the same goodwill the NRA has lost and for much the same reason - hierarchy and unexplained and unaccountable needless concession.

Bloombergs state by state effort??? Cmon now. The "state by state" effort is older than the Second. Indeed that truth is a CORE reason the Second was crafted in THE FIRST PLACE!!!! Federal preemption was done to STOP state preemption!!! Fact is - a great many gun rights defenders KNOW THIS and are treated like idiots who don't and they grow weary of NRA establishment types treating them like underlings.

The reason these groups don't have more support is clear though it is brutal. Folks walk away - the same way they stear clear of the other political parties - because they witness the reality that those organizations are more interested in buttering the bread of donations than they are in baseline solutions. Why? Baseline solutions mean ending the campaign issue....ending the reason for donation solicitation.

It's not apathy guys. It's ANGER. It's sickband tired of being taken for fools. It's tired of being treated like an idiot. It's "done being looked down upon". It's "we can be more effective on our own" by doing things just like "I will not comply". Like the Bundy Standoff. Like refusing to register long guns in Connecticut.

Superman David and yourself are currently seen as OUTSIDE the "command structure" of the "in crowd" of the current "bosses" of the gun rights community. I urge all three of you not to risk that view - take care not to be seen as being folded into the "shill"' position. You will lose at least part of the following you have if you fall into that NRA and other "organized" groups laid trap.

Yes it's true to say a lot of Americans are unintelligent. But a great many are smarter than they are given credit for. Take care to never forget that. With the SAF starting to act more and more like the NRA- the Jewish may walk away altogether.

I must have heard wrong on the news service . I heard that 80,000 law enforcement officers were chasing down those four terrorists.

Furthermore, gotlies and others like to talk about "safety" of background checks. They want to keep the debate about how well or not well, how effective or ineffective, they are. Here's why. And let's remember, Mike exposed the point---- what do you do when so and so loses? Uh huh. The REAL debate is far more ummmm let's say "fundamental". The fact is, even the Supreme Court has admitted that the free standing interest balancing approach doesn't pass muster. If background checks arent the interest balancing approach, THEN WHAT IS? The actuality - and where the debate SHOULD BE- is FLATLY... Government isn't empowered to impose background checks upon the innocent. Simply stated, if banning firearms possession is IN ANY WAY suspendable or revocable (violating the inalienable definition) it can ONLY be part of sentence for a guilty verdict for a crime committed. Even then, only the proven guilty can be subjected to the "background check". Make THEM carry the "license" and force "training" upon them!!

Yet we see the "leaders" - NRA SAF etc literally conceding the point altogether- as if there is no point to make in the first place. And they want gun owners to offer financial support - for THAT? Hardly.

Am I harping? Maybe some would argue that, but what are we supposed to do? Stand down? Pretend the "leaders" aren't hosing us up the hind end? No way. It's time to Ummm stand and fight.

The Heller McDonald combination is as powerful as it is problematic. The Second is a fundamental, individual, inalienable right not tied to military service, not subject to the interest balancing approach, preexisting government positive right(privilege) BUT it cannot stand on its own? It MUST have the 14th to "apply"? Cmon now. That's as nonsensical as it gets. The Second, just like the First, is an admission - and one that applied to ALL government at all levels. Each state agreeing to those rights existing all across this land. That's the core of the UNION- standards among all states.

But then gun "rights" orgs wanna play state by state? They are as guilty as the court. This isn't a tenth amendment issue anymore than its a 14th. Is a SECOND AMENDMENT issue. States rights MY ASS - not where enumerated rights are concerned. Checkout out - the right to keep and bear arms us left SOLELY to the PEOPLE themselves, not the people and the states or people and government. Notice that SCOTUS admits that too.

There comes a point when it's time to call bullsh$t what it is. Government simply isn't empowered to impose the things that have been imposed. Courts don't decide what's constitutional - We The People do - by what the Constittution ACTUALLY says. Courts must relent. Legislatures must relent. Quite frankly, gun "rights" org must relent as well.

If the SAF,and that which it has absorbed, the NRA and other "special (tax) interests) groups would step up and tell the baseline truth, they wouldn't need to beg for monies and membership. If they just DID the right things, the people would come. If you build it they will come. And success on the baseline DOESNT mean it's over. Always we must defend but say we "win" hands down - all permit structures eliminated entirely and gubmint respects out rights totally - there is never ending youngsters to train and teach - older folks too. Those orgs would continue to have support even if the leviathan is defeated.

So if money is still there, after a complete victory (yeah right) why the waffling? Why the backdooring and such. Well, remember, it's about CONTROL, not about guns.

On that note I'll end it here. Today's gun rights organizations want CONTROL, just like Bloomy and Klan, the two "sides" just disagree about how to exhert that CONTROL. Until THAT changes - the cycle in cycle out of "membership" will continue. Corporate like "mergers" will happen from time to time like the Jewish fold into SAF and the purposefully endless battle will set pretty much as it does now - save one main factor .... As Economic troubles continue, raising funds for that game will only become harder. As Mexican population grows, because their culture is one of total gubmint gun control, the donations sector shrinks. At every vector - the trail goes colder. Indeed, it might be true that the deals already sealed and those groups already forced the point - nullification via individual disregard for the "laws" - the clearly unconstititional diktsts - is really the only action coming because it's the only "change we can believe in".

Freemen will always take up arms when liberty itself is threatened and abused enough. We literally are at that breaking point and gun rights orgs ARE responsible fit that in large measure. There MIGHT be a chance for redemption BUT that takes atonement. Right now- I'm not seeing that from the likes of the NRA and SAF. Money won't solve that problem.

I contributed to JPFO for years, and am a life member. Then Gottlieb the Gobbler swallowed the outfit, and I am THROUGH. I am never giving one dime to that pandering, grifting, compromising, enabler of a bullshit artist. I won't give any money to a jackass the same way I won't throw it out the window of my car while speeding down the highway.Do you know what that clown has been sending me since he took over? Ads for the Neptune Society, the people that cremate you after death. I am well aware of my inevitable death, and I dare say I have been on the doorstep, under fire a helluva lot more than that fatsy watsy. That seems to be all he sends my way, other than frantic appeals for more money (Hawaii beckons, I presume) and wails about how this time it's "down to the wire!". He's kissed off, and he stays kissed off. His frantic appeals for money by the way, are designed for cretins, or so I'm led to believe. They reiterate the exact same dire situation at least three times, as if I didn't understand it the first time. He should remember the first rule for wining friends and influencing people. Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining.
