The FBI’s bogus report on mass shootings

While the FBI study discusses “mass shootings or killings,” its graphs were filled with cases that had nothing to do with mass killings. Of the 160 cases it counted, 32 involved a gun being fired without anyone being killed. Another 35 cases involved a single murder. It’s hard to see how the FBI can count these incidents, which make up 42 percent of its 160 cases, as “mass killings.” They plainly don’t fit the FBI’s old definition, which required four or more murders, nor even its new one of at least three murders.

But widening (widening my rosey red, twisting it totally outta shape) the definition allows them to produce such nice talking points. And since those stats are what the gun grabbers (aided and abetted by the MSM) will use to justify yet more "sensible" gun control laws, the newest methodology fits perfectly with the left's agenda.

People you really need to read and digest Anonymous Conservative's book "The Evolutionary Psychology Behind Politics: How Conservatism and Liberalism Evolved Within Humans"

The Kindle version is a $9.99 download at Amazon.com (free if you have Kindle Unlimited) and is worth every penny it costs. I am not even finished with it yet and already the actions of modern liberals make complete sense. Chris Muir kept making references to it in "Day By Day" and I finally bit the bullet and bought the book. I'll warn you in advance; this is anything but light reading. I found myself repeatedly having to stop and digest what the author was trying to tell me. But the insights it provides into the workings of the progressive - AND THE CONSERVATIVE - minds is startling.

People have an inherent need to trust in their government. The founding fathers of our republic knew this. They also knew of the tenuous relationship between the regime, any regime, and the truth. Anyone who has even briefly studied the the work of Propaganda Minister Goebbels should see how a master of the art of twisting the needs of the people to serve the needs of the state. Our founding fathers also new that. Our free press is supposed to expose the workings of our government to the antiseptic of public view. And our people are supposed to pay attention to what the press reports about what is done, for good or ill, by our leaders in our name. The fact that neither happens in today's America are two of the causes of our current predicament.

Expecting truth from the FBI or any part of any government agency is like Charlie Brown expecting Lucy to hold the football.

Whomever Republican that wins the white house in 2016 needs to hand out a couple hundred thousand pink slips and get these career liberals out of all branches of government. Clean house, so to speak.
