Over the summer I served on a Grand Jury for the first time in my 57 years. I got to see how the Asst. D.A.'s can steer a jury and just how brain dead many of my fellow Americans sitting on juries are. Being a member of a national group trying to reinstate common-law grand juries I knew the difference between common law, where there needs to be a victim for there to be a crime, and the states Admiralty/Equity (statute) laws where they can make breathing a crime. I tried to explain things to other jurors, usually to no avail. It didn't mention in the article if the family members got to testify in front of the grand jury or not. I'm sure the cops got to do that..My point is, the Gov't hates people like me on the juries. They love the slow witted mainstream media following types. And it's set up for the ADA's to steer things any way they want.The People CANNOT get justice in the system the way it's set up..For more info on common law grand juries please go to "National Liberty Alliance". Mike, I'd wondered why you have kept distance from Oath Keepers. Now I know. I made comment on this incident on the OK forum and was promptly served with a double-dose of admonishment. Not learning my lesson---that only PC-acceptable language was allowed on the forum---I also commented on the beheading incident in the US of A. That sent the eunuch moderators over the edge and I was banned. I've since resigned membership with OK. Truth hurts, at times, but it's still truth. Keep at it Ol' Friend and take care.
When you remove the ability of people to get justice through the legal system you leave them no choice but to get justice through vigilante means. Every time I see a cop whining online about how they're facing increasing distrust, hatred, and some armed resistance specifically targeting cops from the citizenry, I point out that this situation is entirely of their own making. They created this situation through their use of Gestapo tactics, their arrogance, and their lack of accountability. To quote something you posted a few weeks ago: "Do you love it? Do you hate it? There it is, the way you made it."
I used to be appropriately aghast at "unprovoked" violence against cops, but these days I'm more likely to assume that somewhere along his career, a dead cop earned his fate.
Even without throwing flash-bang grenades at an occupied baby crib and disfiguring a child for life, they can be thugs.
Just outside of Albany, in Watervliet, New York, the police department wants your Facebook username and password for your permission slip to possess the means to defend yourself and your family:

That's the whole ball o' wax with regard to American jurisprudence as intended by the Founders. It's also why everyone can forget about the principles behind American jurisprudence: Ain't. Gonna. Happen.
Meanwhile, let's see someone defeat this unassailable logic---"Either this shit gets stopped, or it doesn't."
