Well, here's some good news (and some not so good).

After my C-T scan & oncologist doctor's visit this morning/afternoon, I have been pronounced tumor free. The doc says that I can go off the chemo drug now. Praise the Lord. On the darker side of the cloud (there's always one, isn't there?) my creatinine continues to be elevated for no apparent particular reason. Also, the wound on my back, although pronounced as healed internally and demonstrating scar tissue only on the scan, continues to wax and wane with drainage from SOMEWHERE, only God knows where. Still, after two years of the chemo making me sick the tumor-less diagnosis is a welcome one. I guess the Lord ain't done with me yet. I see the nephrologist again next week, and the wound doc tomorrow. Keep me in your prayers.

Mike,
Awesome news on the tumor!!
There is healing power in prayer.
You will continue to be in my prayers, and I'm sure if you've made it this far, the good Lord has some more plans for you.
Please continue to kick ass and take names!

Don't worry about the back draining fluids ... likely oil glands ... they do that sometimes. Good news otherwise.

I am not a doctor but I ignore their advice until I find one that is no longer "practicing"
