Playing shouting matches with Alan Colmes. Well, that was fun.
Acrimonious, but fun. My favorite line: "You know, I've been warning about the possibility of civil war caused by government bad conduct for the past 20 years, but it wasn't until I started mentioning that collectivist senators were putting their own testicles at risk that people started paying attention. I think I must have accidentally put my finger on where you fellers worship -- if you can stand THAT mental picture."

What has them scared now is Heller. For the first time, their own little chess set opened their eyes to the PURPOSE of Second Amendment - and it ain't hunting deer. Combine that with the fact the militia movement and the Tea Party movement are coming together to form a Liberty Movement with teeth!
The collectivist bastardized thrived when there was no actual opposition. That time is over - and most of them know it.
I commented to you earlier on the other Colmes post, but I want to say again, you were as cool as a cucumber answering the statist's trap questions.
You did a lot to make a lot of leftists think twice about the doublespeak coming from the statist network news.
Ok not a lot, but hopefully at least a few. You educated at least a few people towards our stand for the individual today.
Please take him up on his offer to do another interview, and you will educate more to the side of freedom.

Fine job of holding onto the high ground despite the continual baiting, misquoting and twisting of facts, expected nothing less from Colmes. Pretty sure your points fell on deaf ears but you at least tried again to warn the arrogant left. Since they chose to ignore there will be no future qualms or moral concerns if all goes belly up.
perhaps they should cup their testicles when contemplating the unintended consequences?
Bring THAT image to mind when watching or hearing their inane anti-gun antics in the future!

I think you did great. Based on my arguments with leftists though, what drives them insane when the topic of violence comes up is pointing out:
1. Obama has murdered more us citizens without charge or trial than the Boston bombers did
2. Obama murdered a 16 year old us citizen - if trayvon was a call for change, why not the brown kid Obama droned?
3. Obama has claimed he has the right to assassinate any us citizen he wants, in secret, and does not have to worry about charging or trying citizens - while accumulating a secret kill list of suspects
4. Under the NDAA that obama pushed through, the us govt claims the right to detain indefinitely any us citizen in secret
5. Obama's NSA is literally spying on every single thing every is citizen does on their cell phone and computer while lying to our faces about it repeatedly
6. Obama has been caught spying on the press - the AP, James Rosen from foxnews, and has used the WW1 Espionage Act to prosecute more reporters than all other admins combined
7. Prior to winning his second term, Obama used federal armed raids at record numbers for medical marijuana users - grandmas got to see actual assault rifles pointed in their faces for the crime of smoking pot to deal with chronic pain and disease
8. A Stanford study estimates Obama murders 48 civilians for every ONE terrorist in the Pakistan drone strikes - not to mention the tactics of attacking funerals, secondary attacks going after the cleanup crew, etc that come straight out of the IRA and Al Queda playbooks - or the fact that "signature strikes" are done without actually knowing who they are drone striking on a regular basis.
Who is starting the violence again? We are armed just to defend ourselves against someone with a track record of being a sociopathic child killer who frequently uses violence on innocent civilians for the purpose of intimidation. Obama supporters have zero moral authority to ever lecture anyone on violence.
I hate to break this to you, Anonymous from May 8, 2014 at 2:34 AM, but it wasn't Obama who "pushed" NDAA through. He was GLAD to use its provisions, but ALL those NDAAs have had major support from BOTH parties. I expect you can come up with most of the names voting in favor without looking at the records.

U.S. Constitution
Art. IV Sec 3 clause 2
"The Congress shall have Power to dispose of and make all needful rules and regulations respecting the Territory or other Property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be so construed as to Prejudice any Claims of the United States, or of any particular State."
Article I Sec 8 clause 17 (enumerated powers of the U. S. Congress ms)
..."and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, arsenals, dock-yards, and other needful Buildings;--And"
The "other needful Buildings" are to comply with the enumerated powers.
Nothing in the Constitution give the central government any control over land use in any State except for what is enumerated. National parks, National cemeteries, National Forests are all unconstitutional.
