Well, The Obamessiah did promise to have a force of the same basic size and equipment as the military. Looks like he was talking about building it through the various Federal agencies.

Senator Coburn, I am requesting that you provide a response as to why the USDA or any Federal agency outside of the law enforcement agencies need weapons or personal armor. This goes back to the original question of why this government is buying up so much ammo. The militarization of these agencies has gone unchecked by you in congress, and is completely outside of the constitution. I am requesting that you respond to my inquiry...and to warn you, I'll be posting your response on every Republican and Tea Party Website I can find. This needs to stop NOW. For you to do less is gutless abdication of you oath of office. We don't need to arm any of these agencies....the BLM is a prime example of unconstitutional overreach. Please do not respond with the usual BS about "they need it to enforce regulations, or the ammo buy was a one time initiative to save money." Everyone that has a brain knows that the illegitimate children running this administration are up to No damn good.

What's the big deal? They have a law enforcement division too. A bunch of them have been killed in the line of duty too.

Anon 0757, I'd rather think THEY have ammo for anything WE carry.
Once TSHTF, I expect a lot of ARVN specials. They can't run very fast carrying rifles & ammo & such, so they'll drop it as fast as they can.
