What's he going to do when people start getting killed over this new unconstitutional law? I guess this guy drives the weeniewagon when it ventures into upstate New York.

In the present circumstances, the function served by "The 800 Pound Gorilla" is primarily that of a lightning rod. Note that the popular press focuses all of their hit pieces on the NRA with no regard to whether or not the NRA is even involved in the issue the article is trying to pontificate about. Meanwhile the real heavy lifting of rolling back 80 years of infringements on that which "shall not be infringed" is done by others.

The NRA is not, has never been, and probably never will be the pro gun rights organization we all wish it was. One that could throw a political punch consistent with its "800 pound" weight. Perhaps if more threepers were active voting members it would be. If we had some ham we could have ham and eggs if we had some eggs. And if a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his behind quite so much.

But I'm a resident of Realville, and none of the above wishful thinking is going to come to pass. And I say that quite regretfully from my perspective as a voting NRA Endowment member.

"The Legislators already know we are disturbed, don't care and will not repeal the SAFE Act just because we fill West Park."

Start swinging a few of them from lamp posts with short ropes and watch the attitude change. The reason these tyrants do this is because they do not fear the people. Maybe it's time to put God's own fear into them.

This sentiment runs long and deep in this country and neither the NRA nor establishment media and their loyalist cohorts can keep it hidden anymore.

I'm glad to see so many more people standing up and telling the truth.

As I've sad before - the NRA is the biggest and best disguised GUN CONTROL organization in this country. This is a perfect example of it. That organization is used to STOP "gun owners" from actually exercising the right supposedly at issue. Ironic huh?

FUCK the NRA and the sadistic, evil horse it ride in on.

Think it through folks - the NRA convinces people NOT to defend themselves, their own rights, but instead send them money to "do it for you". It plainly cannot get anymore backward than that!!!

REALLIESREALIZEREALLIES.

We need to, "convert the guys who have never shot a gun but would like to." Bullshit! They will sit on a fence, never investing one dime for a firearm, or one minute to learn how to use it. When there is mass chaos and it comes to a neighborhood near them, let 'em become a statistic in the dead column. I have no time for people with jelly for a spine and scrambled eggs for a brain. Some people deserve to be victims, especially this late in the game.

I have been threatened with being banned at gun forums who can't stand that I, first, know the truth about the NRA, and second, speak it out loud. They are nothing more than controlled opposition. Not once have they been on the true 2nd Amendment side of any legislation or court case. Instead, they consistently take the compromised and/or weakening position and convince their idiot drone masses to support their decisions against their own interests! And pay for the "privilege" of being so-convinced to boot! How much more proof of "droneness" among the NRA masses could a thinking person need? Apparently a lot more, because as those establishment boors continue on their long historical road of betrayals even now, gun owners keep sending money, keep ostracizing opposition voices, keep vilifying as "closet gun-grabbers" anyone who deigns to point out the truth about the NRA, and most of the time, accepts their diktats about what candidates and legislation to support without any question about constitutionality, prudence or the predictable unintended consequences of electing or passing them. Total drones.

As it pertains to NY, many of the gun owners there are just as much drones as King expects them to be by my experience. I can't recall the last time I saw a NY'er on a gun forum get fired up about any usurpation, gun-related or otherwise. As Mike said yesterday, God Bless John Cinque and the seeming majority of gun-owners standing fast against that Intolerable Act in CT, but unfortunately, I just haven't seen the same kind of resolve to resist from NY'ers. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope I am.

King is just trying to keep the State from charging the NYSRPA for "Bus Parking" as they did last time to the tune of $10,000!

That is 10 grand stolen from the state organization by Cuomo's bureaucrats. This time see if they can find someone to fine!

These bastards minds keep churning out ways to "Get" the gun people because they cannot win on a national level.

Hey folks,
Tom King obviously wants the "safe act" repealed as much as anyone. He just thinks the most effective way to get that law knocked down may be through the courts instead of with protest rallies. So what the hell is your problem with that? He has an opinion. Like assholes, everyone has one. So, quit using excuses as lame as his opinion to knock The NRA. That's just dumb. Personally, I plan to send the NRA the money needed to upgrade my Patron-level Life Membership to Benefactor status. How about some of you blabbermouths doing the same.
If you're not an NRA member, then you're part of the problem, not part of the solution.
