The "Five Percent?" Man as god. Uh, huh.

Jay-Z’s bling from ‘whites are devils’ group
Black people are the fathers and mothers of civilization, white men are the devil, the Christian god is nothing more than a ghost and only a small percentage of people understand the world.
These are just some of the beliefs behind the bling — the gaudy Five Percent Nation medallions worn by Jay Z and Carmelo Anthony.
Last week, all eyes at the Barclays Center weren’t on Jay Z’s better half, Beyoncé — but on the coaster-size golden pendant swinging from the rapper’s neck as the couple sat courtside. Asked once if the group’s symbol — an eight-point star with the number 7 in the middle — held any meaning to him, the rapper shrugged, “A little bit.”
So what exactly do Five Percenters believe?
“The rationale is that the black man is God and created the universe, and is physically stronger and intellectually stronger and more righteous naturally,” says Michael Muhammad Knight, an author of two books on the radical group.
You can find more on Michael Muhammad Knight here and his own self-loathing jeremiad on the Five Percent here.
The Christian Post reports on this here: "Jay-Z Embraces Five-Percent Nation, Addresses Illuminati and Questions Other Religions."
Jay-Z appears to have embraced the beliefs of the Five-Percent Nation, which is an American organization that holds to the thought that 5 percent of the Earth has the ability to enlighten the rest.
The rapper recently made an appearance at two New York radio stations to promote his new album Magna Carta Holy Grail wearing a chain that symbolizes the Nation of Gods and Earths, which is another name for the organization.
Rumors and imagery in some of his music videos have tied Jay-Z to the occult and Satan worship in the past few years. The rapper addresses some of these issues on a song on his new album titled 'Heaven' while also speaking about some of the Five Percent doctrine.
"Arm leg leg arm head this is God Body," raps Jay in the opening lines of the track. This statement touches on the Five-Percent Nation's acronym for Allah who is not the traditional monotheistic God that is followed by orthodox Muslims. Instead, the Nation believes that the Asiatic Blackman is God.
Jay-Z also speaks about his view of organized religion.
"Question religion question it all, question existence until them questions are solved," he says. "I'm secular tell the hecklers settle down your religion creates division like my Maybach partition."
Jay-Z goes on to illustrate how he is like a God to the entertainment world and his fans are his congregation. "I confess, God in the flesh, live among the serpents turn arenas into churches."
Five-Percent members frequently refer to themselves as God according to their doctrine.

Rather collectivist, since all individuals vary... but, ignoring that...
If true, it should be easy to prove- so get to it.

Simple "ascension" theory....same thing Satan tried on Adam and Eve in the garden....eat this fruit and you will become a god yourself; you can ascend to the level of God.

Same old lies; just sad to see it's still working. There really is nothing new under the sun.

And people say human creativity is dead. Leave people alone, and there's no limit to the weird things they'll come up with...

This is nothing more than Neo-Gnosticism with a large pinch of pagan-insanity if you ask me... Not only is it spiritually dangerous and they're putting their immortal souls in jeopardy, but they are also putting themselves into intellectual danger by polluting their minds with "fuzzy thinking".

If they are so "successful", then how come predominately black, sub-Saharan African countries rank as the worst places to live year after year?

Or how come medieval England had a higher standard of living and a longer average life-expectancy than modern sub-Saharan African nations have today?

Their "Supreme Alphabet" is also interesting to look at. For a group of people who broke off from an already weird strain of Islam, they seem to use the Latin Alphabet, and not the Arabic Alphabet, which is the liturgical language of Islam.

In English, Kingdom starts with a K, but in Arabic the word for Kingdom starts with the letter meem "م"

مملكة

(mumlakah)

I doubt they've thought this whole thing through...

If you view yourself as "your own God..." as these people do, you're going to start acting in a way that is detrimental to civilized society (Which we are indeed seeing, popular music that promotes antisocial and criminal behavior is not good for the long-term survival of any society.) not to mention that if you view yourself as God, then you're going to be very confused when you die and meet the real deal.

Indiana Congressman and Farrakhan devotee Andre Carson is also associated with the Five Percent. It's an offshoot of NOI.

http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/09/andre_carsons_racist_family_ties.html

"Carson, 33, said today in a phone chat that he was influenced, as a teen-ager, by the biography of Malcom X, and by NOI members and an offshoot group, the Five Percent Nation or the Five Percenters."

To quote the late Billy Preston:

"Nothin' from nothin' leaves nothin' ".

Jay Z's claptrap sounds like Elijah Muhammad after some kind of bad acid trip.

He is just bragging about Maybach cars, which were overpriced and now discontinued. Just as he will be when his record label drops him.

His fans can buy his music and his "religious" philosophy. I am spending my money on firearms.

I bet the Three Percent can enlighten the Five Percent!

Sticking feathers up your butt and calling yourself a chicken does not impart one the ability to lay an egg.

Their tribe can think whatever they want to. It makes them foolish and weak and that is just fine by me.

"... it's the white race afraid for their future."

Police Officer: "Do you have any firearms in your vehicle, Sir?"

Motorist: "Well, officer, I have a .45 Colt Government Model in the glove box, a Springfield M1A in the trunk along with a Winchester M97 Trench Gun, and a Walther PPK in an ankle holster along with my Concealed Carry Permit."

Police officer: "Jesus H. Christ, mister! What the heck are you afraid of?"

Motorist: "Not a damn thing, Son! Not a damn thing!"

And that is why the train wreck known as Nigeria is the most prosperous, most stable country in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Why mess with nut cases? And why treat people collectively? Isn't that what government does?

Oddly, when I read about this on some social music hipster site, it didnt mention the IslamoFascism connection...

hmmm... wonder why.
Could it be just PC or too embarrassing for the prog-tard media to admit the connection?

I don't get the obsession with Islam by African Americans. Do they NOT read their own religious texts?

Al-Tabari gives a lineage breakdown that essentially says that anyone who is of black skin is meant to be a slave. Then you have repeated Bukhari verses where the Prophet Muhammad refers to blacks as "raisin heads". He then equates black men with Satan in the book of Ishaq....not to mention all the Islamic Imams and writers through the years who've written about how ugly, stupid and promiscuous blacks are as a people.

....and yet you have a large contingent of African Americans that sign up for Islam...or just as curiously, Black Liberation Theology.

Strange.

"more righteous naturally" Now there's a turn of a phrase. That would be some neat trick.

@anon 4/7 10:36. So if you don't treat yourself as "your own God," at least while you're here on Earth, then what have you done with Free Will?

"Do they NOT read their own religious texts?"

Read? Their own? Black liberation theology?

Conceptually and factually preposterous, the lot.

I came of age in the era of MLK civil rights. The petition for the (Founding!) Principle of redress of grievance by black people was seen as just and noble by a great many folks, with very good reason... because it was.

Any and every just cause, before or since, has been co-opted and usurped by the mortal enemies of Liberty and Mankind, as currently manifested by the left/prog/socialist/globalist consortium of
...the Mortal Enemies of Liberty and Mankind.

Please understand the imperatives
of "Mortal Enemies"....

More righteous definitely explains the number of the little bastards running around and the dysfunctional babymakers sitting around drinking malt liquor.

Their 5% does not equal our 3%.

Good point, from wherever it comes.

White American men of the 1800's had "Manifest Destiny", blacks in this century have "Manifest Dysentery", metaphorically speaking of course.
No disrespect or hate intended towards my fellow countrymen of African heritage. It just seems that people like JZ "collectively" bring out the worst in everyone concerned and bring all of us down as they are too often wrongly deemed to be representative of an entire race. I know that's not the case.
It's exactly what those who would seek to enslave and subjugate us want. To keep us living in fear and, when convenient, at each others throats. That's how evil works and the traitors ruining and running this country know it all too well.
It's my belief that the ensuing race war that the corrupt American ruling political class, media and mindless ideologues so desperately want won't be between blacks and whites. It will be between blacks and for the most part, Latinos.
Just a hunch, it makes me sad all the same.

I put that mess in Google Translate and came up with nothing. I know it is trying to use words but I dont think that it undserstands what they mean. The only thing I am certain of is that it does not have a firm grasp on math. Demographic numbers do not bode well for it.

I would still love to see the look on its face when the same society that has created and continues to enable its complete vacent worthlessness finally comes crashing down. No one to sell shitty mix tapes to then, huh?

You know, the Alinsky "overburden the system and destroy it" works both ways.
