"The unarmed MAJORITY"???? IIRC, didn't I read somewhere we've got somewhere around 300 million firearms in a nation of 315 million people?? Just who exactly is the majority here? Btw, mr. Liberal, quit frothing on the computer; it's bad for the circuits.

Those 300 million plus "reported" firearms aren't exactly "evenly" distributed amongst the population; 85-100 million people own more than one gun. Some of us own considerably more, with the means to equip loved ones that aren't frothing at the mouth Bolsheviks. I can reason with a classical liberal, but Bolsheviks are what a couple dozen million of us will be dealing with at the business end of our rifles sooner or later.
Following other comments about reprobate minds, CS Lewis put it pretty well. There comes a point at which the good Lord says, "All righty, then -- thy will be done."
