Comments on ARFcom regarding my current skirmishes with Mike Lawlor.

Interesting comments. Some of 'em don't like me very much. Eh. Whatever.

With a 150 thousand posts, it's a bit of pot and kettle for aimless.
But at least his name is accurate - he misses the mark for that lack of aim.

I would ask the aimless one this -
Have you ever wrecked a car? Turned it in to insurance?
Have you ever turned in a claim to your health insurance provider? Yeah ? Orly? Imagine that. Aimless doesn't understand what SSI is - on both accounts.

I sense a K factor in aimless.

I noticed that aimless is a STAFF MEMBER.

Given a choice between Sipseystreet and AR15, I'm reading Sipseystreet and ignoring AR15.com

Seems STAFF at AR15.com gets their K facts from www.factsouttatheirass.com.

I wonder how other STAFF members feel about this makes THEM and the site itself appear?

How long before we witness a. "I was hacked" post a la Anthony Weiner?

It's real easy to attack another man from the comfort of anonymity. All the prog trolls and infiltrators do it.

Heads up mike.
The 9th just forced SCOTUS hand.
It struck down California's permit system.

Nuclear fallout drifting over the country now.

I find it ridiculous when people criticize Mike for receiving disability benefits, a program in which HE WAS FORCED TO PAY INTO FOR MOST OF HIS LIFE!

If he hadn't paid into it and still collected benefits from it then that would be shameful, but he's not doing that.

If he paid into it but chose not to receive needed benefits from it, well that's just stupid. That scenario is exactly what the government wants, for they like to take much and return little.

When you pay into something like SS then you're rightfully entitled to get something back in due time. That is the expectation WE ALL HAVE when paying into SS. Mike is doing nothing more than playing by the rules which the government established for everyone paying into SS.

So far as what constitutes "disability", that's a matter between Mike, his doctor, and SS to determine. So what if Mike travels, drives a car, uses a keyboard, and talks on the phone, and speaks in public on occasion. Virtually every disabled person driving into a handicap spot in a parking lot can do the same things. Having a disability doesn't mean one has to be comatose or incapable of doing anything.

some of the people responsible for this economic fiasco and assault on our rights need to have a hammer and cycle carved into their forehead like in inglorious bastards

One of the comments: "IF you knew who he is and IF you followed him at all you would KNOW that your full of shit...dude is bad sick and disabled...unlike the other monstrous percentage of people out there riding the .gov teat...DUDE is for real...paid his taxes, earned a living all his life...its NOW in his later years that he is disabled...he deserves what he paid in...the work he did breaking Fast and Furious alone is worth every dime you will ever make in your life..." - I agree with whoever posted that. Most of the jackasses that try to discredit you have never done a damn thing to defend freedom. Mr. Vanderbouegh,You are much appreciated sir.

That, and you probably don't look well in dresses and don't take shorthand and I know you damn well will not get them coffee...
Mike, sounds like aimless is jealous. I bet he fits his handle.

Ummm as to "guts California gun control"... not so much. This was about concealed carry permits, which are "may issue" as determined (till now) by the county Sheriff. Mostly that works out as "no issue" except for rural counties. This ruling would make California "Shall issue", but you still need to apply, pay, take quite a bit of training, get fingerprinted, and background checked. Also, this was a 2:1 vote by a 3 judge panel. San Diego will no doubt file for 'en banc' hearing, and if enough justices vote to hear it, then it will be scheduled for the entire CA9 panel. Hard to say which way that will go. A few quotes I've seen from the dissenting opinion are laughable were they talking about any other right except 2A.

Perhaps aimless should change his nick to pointless.

Not so much. Hahahahahahahaha! In a parallel universe where there is NO arbitration whatsoever. It happened, and that's it..PERIOD. Whatever may be post decision is another matter entirely. Look pal, the entire history of LEGAL IMPERIALISM is a book without end. Get over it. This was a victory for the time being. After all..Wallace was disemboweled, quartered, and distributed over the English countryside to keep the inhabitants of the King of England's Monarchy jurisdictional power in fear.
No different today. Now, if we could only break the encryption of American stupidity.

Wow, friend, a lot of anger in that post of yours. Yes, it's a victory. But it isn't a done deal. And it only addresses one narrow part of California gun control. That is my point -- we still have the roster, still have the so-call "assault weapons" laws, still have lead ammo bans, still have 10 day waits even for CCW holders picking up up their 12th gun, still have 10rd magazines. What part of "gut" am I missing, exactly? Sure, this victory is great, and in a few months to a couple of years we should know if it will stick -- or maybe you don't follow California firearms litigation as closely as I do and have unrealistic expectations.

All I've stated are facts. Why are you angry at facts? People who get angry when they hear facts generally have some agenda that makes those fact uncomfortable to hear. What's your agenda?

Isn't Aimless one of the site owners or admins....seems he'd be able to see the forest for the trees, but there are a lot of retards on Arf.com....as anyone who's spent any time there can attest.

F'em Mike. You've done more for the cause of liberty than ANY of those posters....that much can be guaranteed.

Don't sweat it, Mike, they just want to shut you up, any way they can. I get hacked for taking a disability check, too, and told to shut up. My reply is usually, MAKE ME shut up.

I've had dealings with "Aimless" before, on that site. He's what used to be termed a "know it all - with an attitude"; I suspect the modern term for that is a touch more vulgar.

I am disturbed when people attack Mike for receiving Social Security Disability Insurance payments.

First, they are not "entitlements". Recipients need to have a large number of creditable working hours, for which they paid FICA taxes into the system for years, for this insurance.

Secondly, one must be certified by physicians as having certain diseases or medical conditions, which preclude working. Assessment may be made by a government contracted doctor, if there is any question.

Third, the amount received is not a living wage. Recipients must often give up homes, vehicles, and property, sell their gun collections, and other things they have worked for their whole lives.

Fourth, one must be disabled for a year before applying for benefits, living off what? Unemployment runs out after 6 months. Medical and prescription bills keep coming in.

Finally, Aimless has obviously never worked as a secretary. They are often the most active people at a business, requiring dexterity, movement, and multitasking skills most disabled people only wish they could have. Secretaries are among the most unappreciated employees out there.

How do I know? I am disabled, after working over 40 years. My life expectancy is about 1 1/2 years. Employers do not hire disabled people for a wide variety of reasons, despite the ADA Act.

Mike is honest, dependable and accurate. He does what he does, often in severe pain, for love of his country. God bless him.

I get tired of the people who direct their hate at individual defenders of our rights, instead of the collectivist, marxist thugs who want to control everyone and everything.

Aimless had either learn to aim correctly, or learn how to use a scope. Otherwise, there's a place for him too; either in the new CHEKA or in the ditch they want to put us all in. His choice.
