A new show called sleepy hollow is on television. A central character (guess who that would be ) awakens in the present to once again do battle. This character gets a load of taxation today and snaps off a bit asking roughly the same question as this article.
A crack was made by another central character about how it's just crazy to talk about founders and framers and ummm tea parties. It will be interesting to see how Hollywood develops this during this show. Worth keeping an eye on.....
My tax protest has already started. I follow the letter of the law (to the n'th degree. If I have two choices to reach the same goal and one of them results in a taxable event and the other has a "loophole" that is completely legal, guess which one I will choose? If I decide to go to Knob Creek for the MG shoot, I can go just to buy some goodies, or I can go to promote my "Business" and maybe even sell a few things. Guess which choice makes the trip a Tax Deductible Write-Off? A few years ago I had an IRS audit. I had LEGITIMATE DEDUCTIONS that were 1 1/2 times my W-2 & 1099 income and each and every one of them could be backed up in triplicate. I won that audit hands down. They make the rules, so I just follow them to the letter and keep extremely detailed travel logs and can account for each and every nickel spent. Once the Gubmint goes to a Fair Tax or a Flat Tax I can quit doing all that Anal Retentive record keeping.

U.S. tax riots are long overdue!
...as are riots to remove bloated would-be tyrants, overpaid congress-critters and other tax feeders.
