Springfield Armory has an excellent warranty. I have sent my M1A in with head space problems and a new bolt was diagnosed to fix the problem. I asked for a TRW bolt and they did not get the message in the shop and I sent it back and for that mistake I did not have to pay the difference in price. I am not even the original owner of the firearm, yet the lifetime warranty goes with the weapon.
