No good deed goes unpunished. The empire strikes back where it can to send a message.

State Attorney Angela Corey fires information technology director who raised concerns in Trayvon Martin case.
State Attorney Angela Corey fired her office’s information technology director Friday after he testified last month about being concerned prosecutors did not turn over information to George Zimmerman’s defense team in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
On the same day attorneys finished their closing arguments in that nationally watched trial, a state attorney investigator went to Ben Kruidbos’ home about 7:30 a.m. to hand-deliver a letter stating Kruidbos “can never again be trusted to step foot in this office.”

Of course no prosecutor or politician would trust him; he's an honest man.

So where is the so-called Republican Governor in all this? Does he not have the power to dismiss Corey, not only for the reprisal but for suppressing evidence helpful to the defense?

Sorry his lost his job and all, but I would be proud to be fired from a place like that.

The rabbit hole just keeps getting deeper and deeper.

We shall see if there is real justice in Florida soon. Judge Debra Nelson is on record as saying she would look at prosecutorial misconduct after the Zimmerman verdict. Investigator Ben Kruidbos has already testified to enough evidence to support a charge of misconduct. We shall see if he is the evil person Angela Corey says he is. Mendacity and perjury are my predictions at that hearing,,,if there is a hearing.

No. Corey is elected, just like the Governor is. Formal charges will never be filed against this State AG. And, no, the Governor does not have the power to just dismiss the State AG.

And yet another "whistle blower" gets zero protection from our system.

It's good to see so many willing to rat these bastards out in spite of the fact that they will be throwing their careers away in doing so.

Kudos to them. We need more like them.
