I hope they wave "Bye Bye" when they leave their old 'home' good bye. This Bye Bye should include all the payroll to the locals, the payroll taxes that used to be paid to the local & state gubmints. I consider these recent ANTI-GUN moves by several states to be the same thing as committing POLITICAL SUICIDE. The only problem with this ides is that the Politicians are either too ignorant or too arrogant to admit that they just skrewed their citizens out of good paying jobs.

I'm glad to see the industry coming to NC, but we are not one of the more gun-friendly Southern states. AL, GA, FL, VA and TN are all generally less restrictive than NC in owning/carrying firearms. The community the plant will be located in is an old textile town with a large Mexican-American population very close to the VA state line. It's going to be ironic, some of these hard-working folks making guns that they could not legally possess in their home country.

But, North Carolina is a state that honors Alabama's carry permit. Dunno why, but South Carolina does not.

Roger J, what are you basing your opinions on? Can you provide links that state VIRGINIA is a more gun tolerant state than North Carolina? Also, are you even aware of NC H.B.937?
