The Second Amendment got attacked this week from three sides, leaving gun owners scrambling to find safe ground. While President Obama has lost momentum for federal gun-control laws, he has picked up victories with his allies in blue states and at the United Nations. . .

Our Founding Fathers were clear that people inherently have the right to use firearms for self defense and to protect themselves from government tyranny. The laws and treaty passed this week are clearly unconstitutional, but it will take a long time for the courts to catch up to the rapid abridgement of these rights.
The courts? Now THAT'S a slender reed to balance your hopes on. All I can say is pull hopes of a legal challenge up behind us, Ms. Miller. We're the Three Percent and this is as far as the bastards are going.

The Courts? The Courts? How many divisions have the courts? Ever since I saw Roberts El Foldo on Obongo Care, I've had blatant confirmation that the Chicongo fix was in. Not that I didn't know it was in already. I don't think I would put much faith in a SC with three communist lesbians in it.
With all due respect to Ms Miller, who did yeoman's work with her Emily Gets Her Gun piece, the loss of Colorado, New York, Connecticut, and Maryland, while tragic and very serious, are hardly the end of the world. It makes an already difficult situation more difficult for those living within spitting distance of Mordor, but I think a more serious blow to our cause would come if the nationally known gun-makers in those newly fallen States decide to stay. What Magpul has done has been very cool, to say nothing of all the small manufacturers who are foreswearing .gov business in New York, but I know not every company has that same level of integrity.
I hear some folks around the Liberty Sphere saying we won't every stand up for ourselves because we haven't so far, because the enemy is too big. From that perspective, these losses are irreversible, because we are doomed by our cowardice to march like cattle onto the 40 and 8s. I think there is an element of self-fulfilling prophecy in predictions for and against escalating resistance. If we all hear too often that we will not resist, then we will give up before the battle is fully joined. If we all hear often enough that we should resist, can resist, and will resist, then we may all take courage from that and stand up for ourselves.
Let us grind them down, day by day, but by bit, until their enthusiasm for the perfidy of gun control begins to wane.
Then we go on offense. And rout them.

But, but, but.... won't it all be fixed if we just send enough letters to the editor, mail/fax/telephone enough congresscritters, etc.? If we just support GOA or JPFO or the local outfit ENOUGH, won't all this go away?

Do you mean that even if all this "gun control" stuff took a serious back seat (for a while) that the same cretins would continue to pretend that they own us and that anything we do is only permissible with their kind indulgence - while they continue to eat our seed corn and do everything they can think of to destroy liberty and justice in the world?
I thought so.

Jefferson I believe, addressed the issue of resistance. He state that people are disposed to suffer until they suffer too much and then they react.
We can judge the truth and accuracy of his comments by the fact that the second revolution has not happened yet although the provocations more than justify one.
The enemies of freedom and individual liberties are always present and the current ones will over reach because they can't help themselves. When it is enough, don't be where they are.
We are Americans and they are traitors and worse.

Cease and desist!
I am sick and tired of the incessant gloom and doom, the whining about “The Horror!” of it all. I am appalled that some significant proportion of the usual commenters on this blog show no discernible difference in this regard from intentional agitprop artists of the regime. I would hate to conclude that some of you are just that, but how would anyone know? I may die of chagrin and shame before the first shot is fired if I read much more of this.
Where is the righteous outrage, the pure burning anger at the destruction of our culture and country, the hatred for the would be masters? Where is the hard, implacable resolve to triumph over our enemies, the enemies of all mankind?
Horror? Certainly. No intelligent observer will deny it but to dwell on it serves no purpose but to incapacitate and enervate us, to cause uncertainty and hesitation. Fear must be used to motivate us, to raise awareness and to be overcome with a purpose, not to be indulged and encouraged.
Accept that you are already dead.
Fret not about what comes “after.”
Focus your justifiable indignation and dire intent on those who have perpetrated these many crimes and on those who have profited by and enabled them.
Rub Them Out!
Wipe them from the face of the Earth!
To your last breath. If you’re still standing you can help with the rebuilding but, absent Step One, that will never happen and The Enemy will “win.” You’ll be no more dead, one way or the other. But failure guarantees our progeny will be dead or slaves with no hope ever even to hear of Liberty.
Enough with the whinging and hand wringing. We all know what’s coming, as much as it may be possible to know the generalities of a maelstrom.
Do your worst upon them, every trick in the book, without mercy or remorse.
May God shed His Grace and Mercy upon saint and sinner alike, may Justice be done, Liberty triumph and Peace achieved.
