Rachel Madcow says something fundamentally stupid about open carry demonstrations.
She opines:

You will not win if the way you are trying to win is by threatening to use weapons to get your political way. People do it in this country, it is a tactic. In fact, we're pretty invested in having a political system that has us not settling disputes that way. Once you threaten that you are going to settle your political disputes by use of arms, you will lose all of your political disputes. Tempting as it may be, particularly when the issue is guns itself, threats and physical intimidation are not how we successfully achieve change in this country.
Tell it to the Deacons for Defense and Justice. Tell it to the veterans of the Battle of Athens. Besides, it is these collectivist bastards that are using the force and power of government to threaten and physically intimidate US with their inconstitutional laws and criminality under color of law. She's right you know, because she's on the TV. I printed out them big words she's saying and plan to educate the IRS and their guns when they show up since she has inspired me to quit paying that involuntary income tax. Since Im a bit on the small size in stature I plan on using her big words to intimidate my much larger and very "friendly" cell mate. I am so glad her college money wasnt wasted.
We don't settle political disputes by force of arms? There are thousands of dead Americans buried in Civil War battlefields all over the eastern part of this country who would be puzzled to hear that.

And these self appointed lords and potentates whom have the elevated themselves to a position of social superiority, a self imposed lofty privilege only they are capable of, of determining what is and is not our Liberty, which in and of itself alone is the greatest hypocrisy imaginable, a collection of pompous arses, who have not reckoned with the reality that when you cram your useless fantasies of some crackpot social justice bullshit up peoples butts and then take their dignity by villianizing them for not bowing to your whole cloth of agenda, well the folks you spit on get pretty testy.
And by meaning testy folks who finally have had enough of such rot, and take up their arms and wave them in these elites faces to give fair warning that that is just about enough of your fucking bullshit.
But what really bakes my noodle, is if these "elites" are so unbelievable intelligent, so wise and knowledgeable, whom are deciding the fate of our Liberty, in their terms and on their terms only, and they can not see they are stirring up a hornets nest?
What do these mental giants expect. Roses and genuflecting at their feet?
And when the unintended consequences of their meddling and manipulating in affairs not theirs ever, rights that come with birth sure as breathing air, that belong only to each man and woman of Liberty, they are insulted and alarmed?
Well that says everything about how astronomically stupid these ignorant royal inbreeds truly are.
One begins to see the scope of resistance to tyranny our founders found so unacceptable.
These are the people who are making the most profound determinations of the future course of this great nation since the founders established it?
Wow...well maybe they themselves have earned the possibility to be shot by the people and their arms they want to steal by any means, done away with as every tyrant and dictator whom eats out a peoples existence worth the name righteously deserves, if only to keep their usurpation of power from polluting the human race with the misery of serfdom and furtherance tyranny.

Tell that to the Obama admin who deals with any sort of political dissent overseas or here with implicit and explicit threats of violence. A 16 year old US citizen was blown away by obama via drone bc his father preached against the US foreign policy that Obama engages in on a daily basis - namely blowing away civilians with drones for being suspects.
How on earth can anyone take maddow the obama cheerleader seriously?
The fundamental lack of knowlege about firearms is appalling - Rachel, those little black holes you see are where the bullets come out ... and the shiney, stabby bits under them are bayonets which are used when the bullets run out.
Perhaps a practical demonstration is required to complete this education module?
