I had one of my hunting buddies over to my house once. Took him and his teenage son down to my loading room to show them my guns. I went to hand one to his son, who declined to take it, saying something like "We've learned how bad guns are." I felt so embarrassed for his Dad, and sad for the kid. God, I hate the schools.
Teachers have been doing this on different levels for the last 60 yeats.. just remember that the next BOE votes that come up.. it is my opinion that teachers have damaged this country and the concpet of Liberty that its people require to survive as self owners more than any war or corrupt politician has in 60 years.. we need to make public schools highly regulated and eliminate teachers from the equation by any means necessary.. imagine the savings on all these quislings for hire. To everyone who says that, in the event of a civil war, the majority of soldiers and Marines would take our side, I believe that will only hold true for the next 5-10 years. After that, the enlisted ranks will be filled with these obamanoids (like Paul X's neighbor's son) brainwashed courtesy of our public education dollars as well as the gays and militant feminists. The officer corps has already gone over to the other side (I've got a wonderful bridge in Brooklyn I'll sell you if that presentation calling mainstream Christianity "extremist" was actually an isolated incident).
Obama won't need his own domestic agency that's just a well armed as the military: he'll have taken over the tanks, planes, and guns, and turn them on us.
I know several school teachers here in my small town. They are all union communists and don't realize what the system did to them. You have to become one to play on the team. So now they preach the state sponsored poison to their own children, and with pride. They really believe they are doing a wonderful job of educating the youth, and not having a clue where this is headed. Also too stupid to know they are being manipulated by their wonderful unions.
I asked my brother-in-law, who happens to teach AP American History in Oklahoma, to name the most important day in American History. He hemmed and hawed on it for a bit weighing various dates before he decided which one he would select as the most important from his not-so-short list. I can't remember what he decided. But I do remember which date it wasn't.
April 19, 1775.
I told him I wasn't a bit surprised that his class covered The Battles of Lexington and Concord in a few short paragraphs. After all, what government would teach their children how their ancestors ran, some of them for miles, for the chance to fire upon and hopefully kill members of their own country's armed forces.
Based on the colors his face assumed I thought I might have to call Fire Rescue to tend to him.

Ron Paul recently announced K-12 home schooling curriculum. Grades K-6 are free, grades 7-12 are $250 per year per family. Get some.
I live 15 minutes from this school. If I could set up a torch and pitch fork concession, I'd make a killing.
