Could do a dummy safe. Not too expensive, easy enough to carry away. But nothing in it except a load of newspapers. Or better yet, if you're the type, set a booby trap charge.
I think the best alarm system is a few good dogs. My dogs are always on alert and bark when they sense anything out of the ordinary. I have dogs, indoors and outdoors at all times. While most of the homes in my neighborhood have had break-ins or attempted break ins, mine has not (knock on wood.) Of course, if the dogs ever fail in their duty, the bad guys will have have a meet and greet with Mrs. Smith and Wesson and Mr. Glock.
Used to live in that Gawdawful State, still have the Pistol Permit for visits to the Family. I have never heard of Blacks invading the suburbs before, account most of the people used to have a PP, and it was not all that hard to get...I guess if you believe the Liberals and do not keep a gun handy.....In CT yu can have a gun in your house without a permit, their main sin is the stupid so called assault weapons law, which was passed at the insistance of William B Ruger and some Insurance Companies...The Yuppie Turds in CT just want a safe place to sleep and party..I guess....
The problem with booby traps is nailing your heirs with it after you off yourself in a car crash. Even if you tell them about it, they probably won't remember in time.
A $20 lockbox with a phone book in it sounds good though.
This home invasion happened in the district of the CT State Senate Majority Leader, Martin M. Looney.
Senator Looney is the sponsor of the high-cap magazine ban in Connecticut. He was a major player in shaping and passing CT's unconstitutional "assault weapon" ban.
Martin Looney is a front for Insurance Companies, he may just be a typical liberal nut job, but he does do what they want him too.
I used to be a lobbyist in CT for gun rights, and this guy was certifiable. I cannot even begin to explain this moron or the ideas in that state, that is why I moved to AL..

the best security is locking your doors when home, keeping a low profile, and having a good alarm system (maybe a panic button on it?)

Mike; "Lichtblau" is literally "Light Blue" either light-"visible radiation" or a description of weight.. German usage is just like ours

Hello Senator Looney? Hello? Anyone home?
