Even liberals get the danger the Gunwalker Scandal poses to the administration.

Obama's Growing Gun Problem.

Now that Republicans in Congress won important concessions from President Obama in the debt ceiling debate, the next partisan battle is likely to be over what promises to be the first major scandal of the Obama administration: the botched gun sting known as "Operation Fast and Furious." The administration should waste no time and come clean about what happened, who approved it, and how it can be avoided again.

Unfortunately, the early signs are that Obama is going to handle this controversy as poorly as he handled the debt ceiling debate. . .

If the Obama administration doesn't act quickly to address this scandal, the squall over the misguided sting could become a Category 5 hurricane.

Not with the MSM soft-soaping it, and even refusing to cover it. Watergate got traction because the MSM hated Nixon's guts. No way that Obama will get that sort of treatment. He'll be protected and given the benefit of every doubt. My prediction: Holder gets thrown under the bus. Nothing more than that.

First major scandal? Weren't there some people in his cabinet who had a problem with tax returns? Wasn't there a Supreme Court appointee that made racist statements openly(got confirmed anyway). Wasn't there a case of blatant voter intimidation at the polls that was never prosecuted? Or have I just now returned from an alternate universe?

It wasn't a "sting" and it wasn't "botched". It was working exactly like it was supposed to, until Brian Terry was killed. Then it was, "Oh, that. Yeah, well lets go ahead and arrest a bunch of guys and look like we're on top of it."

Mind you, those "really good guys" who blew the whistle... DIDN'T, until a fellow Federal agent was killed.

Don't count on ANYONE in government employ to do the right thing in this. Don't count on the press to report it accurately.

Correct your local papers and news outlets when they say things like, "botched operation" and "sting gone bad". Pressure your senators and Congressman continually.

While Prof will throw Holder under the bus, he wants to steer clear of his man and woman (Obama and H Clinton)
This article I call a demonic (thanks Ann!) whitewash. Soft sells the whole mess by making it look like someone just made little tiny mistakes in an otherwise messy situation - ignores the Mission. Ignores the deaths in Mexico. Suggests Terry wasn't really killed by people buying these weps. Superficial cooperation? How about stonewalling as a better way to describe DOJ?
Get a liberal prof in CA to write the first Liberal article on GunWalker and this is what you get.
Disgusting to me. Just the facts, Ma'am. Just the facts is what we would like to hear. Not this wishy washy no big deal unless Holder bites the bullet meandering illusion.

Gary, you left off how the President violated contract law and handed control of a Fortune 500company to a major campaign contributor.

"Even liberals get the danger the Gunwalker Scandal poses to the administration." Almost,
they still try to call Gun-Walker a Botched Sting Operation.

Gun-Walker was a "Act of Subversion"(TREASON)against the Second Amendment and the Constitution of the United States, plain and simple.

The crooked bastards and their MSM cronies are still going to use the Gunwalker guns to pad their statistics and the antis will buy their lies and press for more and stricter gun laws to control American gun owners. They'll probably even require reporting of multiple long gun sales.

Does the water seem to be getting warmer?
