"Semper Fidelis": You MUST see this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGHlvnqPdH0

My sincere thanks to TypeAy for forwarding this to me.

LATER:

Comments from a current-serving NCO . . .

Well spoken. Not going to lie, I got a little weepy. It is getting many hits and the comment board is going through the roof. I do hope someone else is paying attention. . . I dont think this guy told us anything that we did not already know.

If you look at the big bad military like the run of the mill tin foil hat, Bildeberger, (fill-in-the-blank) global conspiracy theorist that haunts youtube or facebook, then you would find all kinds of reasons to tuck your balls between your legs and decry how you could not do anything useful against the NWO other than sit on your keyboard and pout. . .

F-ck the lot of 'em, I say. It is not like they will be around when anything counts. They have done more to bring discredit upon everyone else then they ever could help. Paralyzed by the fear of some grand conspiracy is about as worthless as you can get. I bet their ancestors used to surrender to thunderstorms.

I do believe that in the case of a military call up in the case of civil disturbance, the military will act only in the cause of preserving peace. Vis a vis a hurricane disaster relief or massive flooding. With that said, it will not be the case of the Soccer Stadium Massacre in Ireland nor will it entail breaking in random doors and herding people off to camps.

As a Soldier you understand the fact that your life is forfeit for the benefit of your countrymen. The mentality of the Gestapo or Khmer Rouge just ain't in the Soldiers Creed or the NCO Creed.

"Monsignor: "Do you REALLY think you can outshoot a two-man Marine sniper team?"

The real question is whether tyrants can out-shoot a Marine Scout Sniper team.

Fantastic. I take great heart in this video. I would love to see this guy's video find it's own website and Marines from all 50 states join him.

For every guy like this, I can point to guys I know who either have been or currently are in the military, can't think past the end of their noses, and will follow orders that come down the correct chain of command.

I don't think it is possible to know which sort is more prevalent until the critical moment actually arrives.

It suddenly occurred to me that when you consider the filters in place to get there our 3% probably translates to something like 30% in the active military. After all, once you have learned to live your life with a loaded firearm in reach at all times it's hard to accept the thought of letting your country disarm you when you return to civvie street.
Don't recall who said it, but the remark was made that the US government would some day regret the precedent they set with the Nuremberg trials, ie that it was a soldier's responsibility to oppose what they considered to be an illegal order. Best thing to come out of the whole NOLA/Katrina kerfuffle was that it's given all military the time to think about the possibility of an order to disarm the public rather than have it sprung upon them in a crisis.

Mike, thank you for posting that vidoe. The time has indeed come to step up and be counted, and to let those who would enslave us know that they cannot presume the warriors in the US military will blindly serve as their orcs.

I served with some like that as well, but they were in the distinct minority in my Airborne unit. Most of the men I served with were not only men of conscience, bone-deep courage, and conviction, but also thought for themselves and understood exactly what it was they were defending - a Constitutional Republic.

I don't think it is possible to know which sort is more prevalent until the critical moment actually arrives."

Well, actually there might be a way to know exactly that, and what is more, to increase the numbers who WILL be on our side, and to also cause some serious uncertainty and doubt in the minds of those who wish to enslave us.

Stay tuned.

PS- Mike, please ask your currently serving NCO friend if it is OK to use his statement for broad distribution along with other such statements, and feel free to give him my email if he would like to take part.

Uncle Lar, yet again you hit the nail on the head. Well said.

I agree that it is most likely at 30%, especially in the current political environment, and especially with the most likely trigger event being anti-firearms legislation and attempted confiscation.

The citizen disarmament Nazis just cannot help themselves - they can't resist the temptation to attempt to disarm us, and by doing so, they will make enemies of many of the men who have served who do understand that the right to bear arms is a fundamental human right.

Rollory: There is some truth to that statement, but it goes both ways. When the SHTF and unconstitutional orders are laid out those orders will come from the officers. Those orders will most likely be disobeyed by the sergeants, gunnies, and first sergeants.

When it comes down to it I guarantee you that the PFCs and Lance Corporals are going to listen to their First Sergeant over their Captain.

QUOTE ""Monsignor: "Do you REALLY think you can outshoot a two-man Marine sniper team?" QUOTE

Monsignor, ever heard of Creedmore?
The match in 1873, if I can recall clearly, the Irish team beat the US Army on both the 800 yard shoot and the 1100 yard shoot.

The Irish civilian competitors were using custom built older-style rifles like the giant benchrest Gibbs that fired a conical .451 slug. These rifles were built using the same technology that existed in Schutzen, Germany, in 1500. Most of them did not even have scope mounts.

The US Army on the other hand were using their brand new cartridge rifles from Springfield Armory.

In modern days, that will be like custom built hunting rifles versus the standard military fare.

Many, many civilians are far better marksmen than military shooters. And I won't doubt it that many true American military members would serve the Constitution, not some bullshit laws issued by a wannabe tyrant.

Also, I want to clarify on the Three Percent issue.

From the point of view here, using the exact three-percent theory, it would seem like 3 Percent of the current US Military would serve and protect the Constitution. Now that I read this fact a little while before that many young members of the military today swear to the Constitution but does not know what it stands for at all, the rest of them would probably become drones for the predatory administration.

How many members of the military are there? Lets say 500,000. Three percent of that would be fearless patriots who will defend the Constitution at all costs. The rest would be either drones, or desert. Some of the drones might change their views later on, but I can't guarantee on that.

@Anonymous 10:20 -Count me as one officer who won't be giving any order like that...

I'll be the first to admit I had tears in my eyes by the time it got to the picture of the soldier and his baby. I found it to be a very powerful video and well done.

As a result of that it led me to some thoughts regarding where we are at the moment. If you have time to read the post I did as a result and leave a comment I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Hmmm ....

Remember the "Anonymous" video crusade against $cientology?

I think anon videos by "The Three Percent" may be in order.

Participants might want to google up "Anonymous", "Chanology", and Scientology" for good pointers on internet video propagandizing.

( I would suggest posting on liveleak to avoid flagging abuse that is endemic at youtube and google. )
