Janet the Second issues "warning" on "domestic terrorists" but who is it really she is talking about?

Napolitano Issues Blunt Comments on Domestic Terror Threat.

Read this:

ABC News' Jason Ryan reports:

Speaking before the International Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Conference in Florida today Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano provided a more stark assessment of the domestic threat to the United States and the emergence of homegrown terrorism domestically.

Although Napolitano has been discussing the issue of homegrown terrorism more frequently over the past several months her remarks today were blunt: “We’re operating under the premise that individuals prepared to carry out terrorist acts are in the country, and may carry out these acts of violence with little or no warning,” Napolitano said before the police group.

One month ago Napolitano had painted a similar picture before the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee when she testified about the rise in homegrown terrorism threats. At the September 22, hearing Napolitano said, “A new and changing facet of the terrorist threat comes from home-grown terrorists. And by which I mean, U.S. persons who are radicalized here and receive terrorist training either here or elsewhere, and bring knowledge of the United States and the West to terrorist organizations. A clear trend in recent attacks has been the role of English language and online propaganda from operatives like al-Awlaki, a United States citizen, based in Yemen.”

In her speech today before the police group the DHS Secretary again stated the concern of individuals that may be radicalized and recruited to support terrorist activities or undertake attacks here in the US, but cited the concern that many of these individuals may not be known to the US Intelligence Community or law enforcement, “More and more, we’re seeing the increased role of Westerners, including U.S. citizens, engaged in terrorist training, planning, and attempted attacks …and many of these individuals are unknown to the Intelligence Community and unknown to Federal authorities. And that means traditional Intelligence Community efforts and travel analysis may not be enough to identify domestically-inspired terrorist planning and attacks.”

Napolitano cited a recent push to involve the public and raise awareness among the public to be on the lookout for suspicious activity with the, “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign to have people notify law enforcement if they view something that seems suspicious. In an effort to try and get more information to state and local police officers Napolitano also said that DHS would be expanding the Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting system to push new information about trends and items of interest to law enforcement agencies across the country.

They had a Homeland Security "anti-terror" drill in Memphis last week and the "bad guys" were "Sovereign Citizens" who had detonated a massive IED on the second floor of a public building. Which is just about as ridiculous a scenario as I can think of. Back in the 90s we derisively referred to such folks as "writ writers" and they couldn't organize their way out of a paper bag.

So when Janet talks about "domestic terrorists" she may be using Jihadi examples but she's thinking about "right wing extremists." You know, like you and me.

Praxis: Shock & water proof wind up watch.

One type of equipment I have put back is the Vietnam-era US Army-issue watch. As a matter of fact I have a half dozen new ones that I picked up at a gun show for $5.00 each back in the 90s. They are shock-resistant, waterproof, stem wound. Not the most accurate timepieces, but they are impervious to EMP and do not require batteries.

On operations, synchronizing your watch with others is important because every watch is different. So if you find one for sale at a reasonable price, snap it up. If the price is really right, get one for your buddy.

Anecdote from the 82nd Airborne. A trooper told me that in his squad, not everyone had a watch so when it came to night OP duty, one watch would be passed from soldier to soldier. If a paratrooper was lazy, he would reset the watch forward and hand it over. There were a number of goldbricks in the platoon and sometimes the watch would be off by as much as three hours by dawn. So don't trust someone else's watch.

Of course the collapse of the economy and much of civilization will "defund" them anyway in the long run. Absent that, just don't look for it anytime soon.

On Saturday I was interviewed by a reporter from French Public Radio. Today she visits the Southern Preposterous Lie Center. I asked her to give them a message for me: "Tell them that when it comes to the constitutional militia movement that they don't know merde from breakfast."

Baby killed as family jumps from Paris window after 'devil sighting'

Saturday, 23 October 2010

A baby died when a family of 12 leapt from their second floor balcony in Paris claiming they were fleeing the devil.

Eight more were injured, some seriously, in the tragedy when they jumped 20ft into a car park in Paris suburb of La Verriere.

The baffling incident occurred when a wife woke to see her husband moving about naked in the room, police said.

She began screaming 'it's the devil! it's the devil!', and the man ran into the other room where 11 others adults and children were watching television. One woman grabbed a knife and stabbed the man before others pushed him out through the front door.

When the man forced his way back in, they all began screamed in terror and leapt from the balcony screaming 'Jesus! Jesus!'

The naked man also leapt from the balcony, detectives said. (MBV: Emphasis supplied. I wonder who was chasing him?)

A four-month old baby died in his mother's arms, while a two-year-old was critically injured in yesterday’s incident.

Police said they had found no evidence of hallucinogenic drugs or unusual religious rituals.

Versailles assistant prosecutor Odile Faivre added: “A wife in the next room saw her husband moving around naked and began screaming that he was the devil.

“In the confusion following this apparent case of mistaken identity, the naked man's sister-in-law stabbed him in the hand and he was ejected through the front door of the flat.

“When he attempted to get back in, panic erupted and the other occupants of the flat fled by jumping out of the window.

“A number of points surrounding this incident remain to be cleared up,” Mr Faivre said.

No doubt.

Another country heard from. . .

Time Magazine LTE declares my "hypocrisy."

So Mike Vanderboegh is antigovernment to the point where he would kill U.S. soldiers representing our elected government, but he doesn't mind cashing government disability checks. Craig Wright declares he would fight U.S. soldiers attempting to enforce martial law, so that he himself could impose it and "rule the countryside." The hypocrisy of these two is astounding.

Ian S. Mayville, BOCA RATON, FLA., U.S.

David Codrea: "Will 'fusion center' accept 'militia enthusiast's' challenge?"

David takes my offer one step further and asks for your help.

"Do not let that happen in the darkness."

With this much "misunderstanding" evident about the nature of what they're briefing themselves on, it's a fair question to ask if law enforcement is truly interested in learning first-hand about the subject of their brief? Or does it serve their purpose to stick with SPLC talking points in order to justify potential future actions with the media?

Vanderboegh's not going to give them that out, at least not to where anyone capable of basic fact-checking can conclude anything other than the forces directing domestic "lawfare" are deliberately avoiding learning--and then disseminating--the truth. So he's made an offer on his Sipsey Street Irregulars blog that no honest officer of the law could refuse:

I would be happy to venture out amongst the clueless heathen in our newly-federalized system of political police spying (aka "fusion centers" and "joint task forces") and give an in-service to KCTEW or any other law enforcement group who would like a direct briefing on the constitutional militia movement and the Three Percent concept straight, as they say, "from the horse's mouth.".

For free. Such a deal!

Click here to read his entire proposal.

Will they take him up on it?

I don't think there's a chance in hell. I pray I'm flat-out wrong.

So if it's a moot point, why report on it?

It's important to recall that David Koresh offered to speak with the government, too, before their murderous raid, which a peaceable conversation could have preempted entirely. They refused.

It's evident Vanderboegh is being focused on. It's imperative we--that means you too--do not let that happen in the darkness.

If you agree, please share the links to his offer and to this column far and wide, via email lists, on blogs and forums, and why not even with the "mainstream press," so the "Authorized Journalists" can't claim plausible deniability if the time comes when they would prefer to parrot the "official" line?

Thieves and murderers identify themselves as ATF agents.

At the moment they come in the door, how are you supposed to tell the difference? Or afterward, for that matter.

Snitches get the best deals.

Read this and then let's chat.

Among the ironclad rules of gun coppery:

1. If you've got a case involving a felon ALWAYS prosecute it because it is a slam dunk that looks good in the headlines and on your agency resume.

2. The only reason you don't prosecute a felon with his dick caught in your ringer is if he's snitching for you.

Now, I don't KNOW that that is what is happening here, but it sure smells like it.

My offer to the Kansas City Sneeze (KCTEW) fusion center.

CPT Bob Kolenda
Director, Kansas City Terrorism Early Warning Group (KCTEW)
C/O Mid-America Regional Council
600 Broadway, Suite 200
Kansas City, MO 64105

CPT Kolenda,

I understand from more than one source that you are somewhat distressed at the leaking of your "unclassified/for official use only" report of 1 October entitled "Novel by Mike Vanderboegh." Well, that's fair. I am somewhat distressed about your analyst's conflation of Absolved and The Turner Diaries as well as some of the other mischaracterizations in the report.

Of course I understand that much of this comes about as a result of the SPLC-ization of law enforcement, a process which Professor Robert Churchill has characterized as "The Narrative of 1995" in his recent book To Shake Their Guns in the Tyrant's Face. The Southern "Poverty" Law Center has gotten pretty fat and happy peddling their conflationary lies with taxpayer dollars under the guise of "intelligence briefings" to law enforcement. Ridiculous reports such as the public relations disaster created by your sister fusion center MIAC are the inevitable result of believing the Southern Preposterous Lie Center.

I am curious to know why it is that a fusion center in Kansas City should be so interested in a work of fiction, and to whom you circulated your "book report." I understand that both the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security received a copy. ATF has one as well, although whether directly or indirectly my informants do not know. This tends to prove, I think, my contention that fusion centers are simply part and parcel of the federalization and unconstitutional suborning of local law enforcement.

Allow me, if I may, to suggest a possible remedial measure for the inaccuracy and imprecision of this report to you and any other fusion center within driving distance of Alabama.

My only conditions are that

a. at such briefings my presentation would be video taped by my assistant so that a permanent record of the presentation, your questions and my responses would be available for public consumption afterward on the Internet (of course I'm certain that any shyness of the audience could be accommodated by seating them behind the camera), and,

b. that I pay all my expenses under the time-validated principle that you cannot take the King's shilling and not be the King's man.

Thus, what I offer to you is entirely free to you and your agency.

Of course the SPLC would never submit their lies to such a public airing subject to later fact-checking, and they certainly would never do it at no cost to your agency. The word "poverty" in their name makes it an oxymoron.

Besides sticking my thumb in SPLC's deserving eye, such a presentation would more fully inform your future ability to separate fact from lie which is certainly a positive result tending to make any potential conflict based on misapprehension less likely.

That is what "intelligence gathering" is all about, is it not?

I await your response with great interest.
