One of my daughters works for Bank of America. I told her to ask for one of the kits. She and her husband have complained about paying too much income tax so here is a chance to get a return on their tax money. I s the gov't planning a bank holiday? Is there going to be a run on banks with everyone wanting their money in cash? Stay tuned. Same Bat time, same Bat channel.
It's a corporate fad to buy these $50 "survival kits" (with a boo-boo kit, a ration bar, some iodine tablets and a mylar blanket) for employees to impress how "essential" they are on them.
Most of them would be better off with a bag that just had a pair of sneakers and some decent socks.
When I read this yesterday afternoon I immediately sent this to all my contacts. It really says something..But I'll tell you what: If the SHTF and I run across said "bank examiner" while out on "check on the neighborhood", those crappy little goodies they give these clowns will prove worthless to them but possibly of some use to the less fortunate I relocate the goodies to...
Wonder if those Bankster Survival Kits will include a "Personal Defense Weapon" forbidden to us mere mundanes.
Even if it did, those weapons would end up in the hands of "mundanes" before long. The typical bankster is probably about as competent with weapons as Danny Devito is skilled at gymnastics.
Besides, I think the better-quality 5.56 and .308 semi-autos we can still get are superior general-purpose weapons. Bravo Company, Colt, LMT, Daniel Defense, Larue, Noveske, JP Rifles, and a few others make great stuff.

Spreading hi cost survival equipment into every town which has a bank ... sounds like a public service to me.

Survival kit doesn't do a lot for survival. Reads more like someone has a connection to a company that will be "awarded"a contract.

this probably a knee jerk by one bureaucrat, it it were government wide, I'd be more worried.

Well, at least now when TSHTF, we'll know where to find some 72 hour "survival" kits.
