Note to Gates and Bloomberg: Just because you're billionaires doesn't buy you exemption from the Law of Unintended Consequences. "Saturday speakers to include Bundy, Vanderboegh."

Note to Gates and Bloomberg: Just because you're billionaires doesn't buy you exemption from the Law of Unintended Consequences.
Guest speakers announced for this Saturday’s event include Ammon Bundy, son of the Nevada rancher who fought federal officials earlier this year over use of public land, and Mike Vanderboegh, the citizen journalist who helped uncover the Fast and Furious scandal nearly four years ago.
While this Saturday’s event will give Second Amendment activists an opportunity to vent over passage of I-594, the Jan. 15 rally – when the Legislature will be in town – will allow citizens a chance to personally lobby lawmakers. That effort is being organized by POGR and the GRC, with support from the Bellevue-based CCRKBA, SAF and JPFO.
Uh, huh. So we're just going to be "venting" while SAF does the "real stuff." Like SAF is having such a successful time of using "tried-and-true" methods to sustain liberty in that beleaguered state. This reminds me of the time when Gottlieb had my mic cut off at the Gun Rights Policy Conference in 2012 rather than answer my question that spoiled all his dreams of "victory with Romney" triumphalism with: "What are you going to do when Obama wins re-election?" Fund-raise on the backs of defeat was, of course, the answer. Not that they admitted that Romney would lose. Why that couldn't happen, could it? So Gottleib had my mic cut-off.
Now that SAF has lost the i-594 fight, they want to do the same thing all over again and they expect US to expect a different result? Isn't that the definition of insanity?

I take it, in your view, Gottlieb is not exempt from the law of unintended consequences (pic of gunsight here).

It has been estimated that 20% of gun owners voted for I-594.

Who were the lemmings following? The judenrat Gottlieb and the leadership of the likes of POGR, GRC, CCRKBA, SAF and JPFO.

You see these are the same people that bought us I-591 which gave them cover to not really join in on a No on I-594 campaign. When in question always follow the money and these guys money mainly went to Yes on I-591 and not to No on I-594, if we had had it the other way, 12/13/14 wouldn't now be needed.

Thanks traitors!

I'm grateful to Alan Gura for his "step forward" accomplishments via the judiciary but at the same time, these successes demonstrated to me WHY the "incrementalism" strategy works against our rights even when we "win". That strategy is just a CON meant to appease us into accepting something less than our full rights and as mike says - send more money.

Here's another question you could pose to SAF mike.
The SAF filed the Moore case in Illinois. Of course the scared NRA then filed Sheppard. The 7th decided a combined combined decision and Illinois lost its carry ban rah rah rah. But the two cases had very different substance and while the decision did accomplish some good - it left much of what Moore was DIRECTLY seeking totally unanswered. Why hasn't SAF sought answers to their own "victory"? Why did SAF just walk away?
I had higher hopes for the SAF but it sure seems like it's going to take the never ending fundraising approach that destroyed the NRA.

AND HERES another for the G man if you get a chance... You sir and the SAF as a result of your leadership, have cemented the permit structure - government permission required. So your saying that Jews would not have be slaughtered by the Nazis, they would have been able to defend themselves...had they just gotten their permits.... From the Nazi government????

Folks, the SAF is being destroyed from within. Or is it? Maybe it's not being destroyed at all. Maybe it's just being built.... And it's really just another NRA.... Another gun CONTROL group disguised as something else.

Gottlieb is a snake oil salesman of the worst type. He'll be easy to recognize. He'll be the one with the clipboard checking off the names as people get on the boxcar. He can die and rot in hell for all I care.

The biggest problems were 1) Lack of educating the public on the real effects of the bill and 2) The lack of intelligence of the American voters who only looks at the "Title" and thinks that says it all.

Liberals know that the average voter is too stupid to look at an issue carefully or read between the lines to identify the truth. Need proof? Look at the facade created in 2008 by the Communist Muslim, plus the other socialists in the democrat party, in the white house when the voters were so stupid they believed in the hype and did not look at the character of the candidate. Washington State got what they voted for in 2014 because the residents did not use common sense. They have nobody to blame but the moron they see when they look in the mirror.

It seems that some think that the NRA and SAF are not approaching the issue of defeating gun control correctly. Now, what I did not hear is their plan.
