America Is Coming Apart at the Seams

That's the U.S. right now, a nation heading in two diametrically opposed directions. Where you live in the country has always influenced how you live. But divergent public policy choices, rooted in sharp partisan conflict, are heightening the geographic distinctions.

The two major parties may diverge a great deal on certain wedge issues, but both are firmly committed to increasing the power of government over our lives. Most of the major violations of the Bill of Rights we are currently witnessing are condoned by the leadership of both parties.

Cut off California and cast it into the sea! More 'global warming' to sink New York ...

Problem mostly solved!

I agree with the headline, but good Lord, Bloomberg News? After reading that tripe I needed a bath.

Another article that looks like an "Onion" lampoon piece. ObamaCare was a success? Give me a break!..And that bit on California is another reason for me to pray for that earthquake/tsunami ..

I, like many others, have said it for years...communists and socialists have infiltrated and brainwashed many of our American government and culture to the point that we will never have a truely "Unied States" again. We will either split the country in half or there is a new Civil War just on the sunny side of the horizon.

Why do you link to Bloomberg articles? You're just sending ad revenue to one of your main opponents.
