Here's the perfect solution: stop trying to piss off every country that's not one of our 'client states'. That means: stop embargoing goods, stop spying on their leaders, stop funding every group in sight -- including entire nations.

After a while, all the other countries will discover they gain little advantage by trying to damage one of their trading partners (which is how we should get everyone to see us) and they'll stop putting so much effort into preparing for the next U.S. invasion.

No, I'm not holding my breath, either.

The Latin "Si vis pacem para bellum" can be translated as "If you want peace, prepare for war".

Presume that everyone is well armed and prepared to use those arms, but make it so that it is not worthwhile for them to use those arms on you. This strategy works on the individual as well as national government level. Treat everyone with respect as your friend and trading partner, but also make sure that they know that you will not tolerate any aggression towards you.

As for the spying part, they are spying on you, so return the favor.
