Sipsey Street Health Report and Itinerary

Well, folks, I came back from the doctor yesterday with one of these on my right foot. Nothing broken, but I have a condition subsequent to my diabetes called Charcot foot and am currently dealing with infected spots on the sole of my ass-kicker. My doctor's opinion is "everything heals faster in plaster" so here I am, gimping again.

In any case, I will still be at Knob Creek, Kentucky this weekend for the machine gun shoot. Oleg Volk will be shooting some pics of me and others for the book cover. See you there, on crutches.

Sorry to hear, Mike. I've got Type-II, and it's a fight to keep my glucose numbers at what they should be. Diet, exercise, and Metformin are keeping me healthy for now, but since my Father and Grandfather also suffered from this disease, I wonder what my future holds...

Well, now I get to be the wet blanket. Thanks a bunch guys!

You can't go to Knob Creek. Seriously, I wasn't too worried about you when I just knew about your heart condition, but now that I know about your diabetes, I have to tell you, you just can't go.

That experience would just be toooooo toooooo sweet for a diabetic. I could go in your place if you like.

Yeah, yeah, have a good time anyway.

Mike, I want you to start drinking Loong Qing green tea beginning now.

Green tea, especially the pure kind (Loong Qing, Biluocheng[Shanghainese pronunciation], etc...) drastically monitors blood sugar and helps many other vital organs.

Question: Are there any large Chinese/Oriental groceries (supermarket sized) within your area? If there are, just ask the salesperson for LOONG QING CHA, pronounced (loong ching chaa) They will know what you are talking about. Loong Qing is 100 percent tea buds, no fillers or anything they add to teabags. If not, I am going to get you some, there is plenty of Loong Qing here in Chinatown.

After that, make sure you get a PORCELAIN cup, not a teacup, but a PORCELAIN beverage-sized mug. NO STYROFOAM, because styrofoam is toxic.
Fill the mug with two-three pinches of the tea, then fill with BOILING water up to the brim. ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS refill your mug with boiling water, as that will bring out as much nutrients as possible from the tea. Put in a fresh batch of tea in the morning, and drink, and refill until you go to bed. Then clean out the old leaves, replenish with 2-3 pinches fresh tea next morning. Repeat every day.

NOTE: 2-3 pinches is ONE DAILY SERVING. No need to make a batch of fresh tea later the same day, just drink the same batch until bedtime, so that way you will get the most out of each serving. Also, with pure, high potency green tea such as Loong Qing, you CAN "overdose" if you drink too much heavy (fresh) batches within a short period of time. This "overdose" is not toxic, but it will severely limit the amount of beneficial nutrients you get from the tea. That is why you should make just ONE BATCH and STICK WITH IT for the day, then repeat the next day.

This his how Shanghainese people drink tea, and the diabetes rate, along with cardiovascular disease rates in Shanghai are controlled.

If you don't have a sizeable Oriental grocery in your area, I am going to have to find a way to get you supplied with Loong Qing.
