I walked out with a Springfield M1A even though it was not as good as a "real" M14 and I knew it. The FAL was a beautiful gun, but the M1A fit me in a way the FAL could not. I don't care if the M1A can't go 10,000 rounds of abuse. I don't abuse it. It only needs to go at most a few hundred in a real fight; I will be dead before it craps out. I have put an adjustable gas plug on it, though, to ease the strain on the op-rod.Paul Xnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7575061201749703300.post-18851395109461566622013-08-19T08:32:22.065-05:002013-08-19T08:32:22.065-05:00Some FAL rifles use "metric" magazines. ...Some FAL rifles use "metric" magazines. It is similar to how different the new m14s from Springfield are compared to the ones made from surplus usgi parts.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7575061201749703300.post-32022496059909919552013-08-18T23:42:29.604-05:002013-08-18T23:42:29.604-05:00Years ago I got my hands on a Smith & Wesson 1...Years ago I got my hands on a Smith & Wesson 12 gauge police shotgun. Fired ONE SHOT and it broke. Replaced the broken part and gave it to a friend. One shot and another part broke. We tossed it into a river after that and never looked at any S&W shotgun again (hope they never built any more of them).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7575061201749703300.post-60144013333791270952013-08-18T16:26:16.821-05:002013-08-18T16:26:16.821-05:00Click on "this" and it should take right...Click on "this" and it should take right there.Dutchman6https://www.blogger.com/profile/09935420042995679958noreply@blogger.com
