Reporters arrested in Ferguson

"We don’t have to put up with you and your pinko friends anymore.” -- US Army officer in The Stand (1994) to a news reporter just before she's shot.
Wesley Lowery, a Washington Post political reporter, and Ryan Reilly, a Huffington Post justice reporter, were arrested in a McDonalds shortly before 8 p.m. ET. Police entered the restaurant and told patrons there to leave, the reporters wrote on Twitter after their release. The police then asked Lowery and Reilly for their identification and, according to the reporters, arrested them because they weren't packing their bags fast enough. Lowery also said the police officers "assaulted" him.

Were they journalists or agents provocateurs?

And as for pinkos, of any variety, any chance to empty a full clip into them should not be wasted.

So how to we law abiding citizens address this lawless government whose minions do not give a shit about the oath?

First, they came for the Tea Party...

"I AM the law!"....in other words, I'll do whatever the hell I want. I am lord and master over all of you now. You want to know why? B/c I have a gun and a badge and sanctioning for whatever action I undertake by my cronies. I am almost completely immune from prosecution for my abuse of your rights.

Get used to it, slave!

Guess getting a raw taste of the America the media has been complicit in fundamentally transforming ain't so great huh?

Well when the regime they helped to install gets around to putting a bullet in the back of the their skulls in preparation for the dirt nap all useless dupes end up taking in reward for the tyranny they help create, may they finally understand what liberty and the 2nd Amendment is about.

I heard the audio of the encounter. These "reporters were acting like dooshbags and forcing the cops to do something. Sorry not everything cops do is wrong. They could have complied, walked out under thier own power and melted out into the world but they wanted to be non compliant and they got the conseauences. Also, i have regularly been alarmed over the militarization of the police and seeming overreach lately by police and .gov but a f-----g roit is going on, police acting to contain it "ask" you to clear an area clear the area, unless your tring to compound the problem and create more chaos.

And just think - these are the "only ones" those very reporters advocate having all the guns. I am getting something of a kick out watching all the moment of insights taking place, especially regarding the militarization of police.

It's WE who have been warning against this. It's WE who have been saying ALL ALONG that the folks and the gubmint must have THE SAME armament in order to provide BALANCE so that this very type of thing doesn't happen.

The best part about the just desserts last night is that a black reporter was arrested right along side a white one (with a funny ironic part being a democrat governor)! Why? Cuz it demonstrates that this ain't a skin color issue.

It's a "only ones" problem.

I would encourage some time spent to watch the camera feeds of what really happened as this will be coming down your street soon enough. It was a peaceful assemble until the jackboot cops fired upon them and started a riot. A city counsel member was arrested for "failure to comply" and attested to the peaceful assembly. Is said that MO Governor will remove the county police because of their felonious behavior. This should be watch closely, it could be a flashpoint. Twitter #Ferguson for some nasty reality.

@ you Vegas Dave,
What's the difference???

Rumcrook, you are full of it. There was no "riot going on" when these cops pulled the crap they did. And to the extent they were several days late to the rioting, these reporters certainly weren't rioting!

You know how policing today targets innocent gun owners rather than the criminal actors? Do you understand and agree that this has resources wasted pestering those doing nothing wrong while criminals run rampant? The same thing is demonstrated with these reporters! Now, while I agree it's just desserts for those so quick to advocate gun owners be treated this way out of "safety", I'm better and smarter than to stoop to the level to advocate it! It's WRONG! It's the SAME violation of rights as jailing a man because of paperwork or a barrel length being a half inch "too short".

It's my hope that NATIONAL organizations not SQUANDER this opportunity to TEACH the media a lesson using their own outrage over treatment of CITIZENS doing nothing more than exercising their RIGHTS!

According to the local news, they were charging their cell phones. I guess they couldn't get unplugged fast enough to suit the cops.

But were they "authorized journalists"? Did they have a pass from Nancy Pelosi?

The more I see these people "protesting" the more I see them as the OWS trash.

Where were all of these people during Bundy, or any other actual important rights event?

If you haven't seen, or heard yet, Michael Brown, the 18 year old shot and killed in Ferguson, MO was just coming away from a strong-arm robbery of a $50.00 box of Swisher Sweet cigarillos.

Kind of have to wonder how those folks about all the looting and rioting now, eh?
