Facebook Bans Gun Rights Activist Over Holocaust Post.

Facebook banned a gun rights activist due to entitled, “Connecticut’s Gun Ban Is Worse Than Hitler’s Gun Ban.” A recent video of a kitten in a burning bucket was deemed to be in line with the social network’s “community standards” but the pro-Second Amendment article was not.

The nanny state insanity continues: Kentucky Man Arrested For "Terroristic Threatening" After Posting Song Lyrics To Facebook

Holt added, “As some of us in Exodus are parents, of course these things hit close to home; it’s every parent’s worst fear. These moments are the stuff of nightmares, and life, as well as music, isn’t always pretty. But when we start to overreact to things like lyrics by any band, including Exodus, and start arresting people, we are caving in to paranoia and are well on our way to becoming an Orwellian society.”

Sheriff Nace Stands Tall For Gun Rights In Pennsylvania

Sheriff Carl Nace has upheld his Oath by refusing to turn over the names and addresses of concealed carry permit applicants his office processes, to three county auditors, who have filed a lawsuit against him in court. They believe they need this information to properly audit the sheriff’s office. Sheriff Nace replied to them that such information is protected under the state criminal code. He refused to give the auditors the names of applicants for concealed carry permits.

“Ex-Marine” Who SWATted Black Shopper To Death in Walmart Changes His Story

In our estimation, this sounds as if the Ritchies intentionally SWATted John Crawford. If the evidence continues to bear this out—and it seems more likely every day—then Ritchie should be brought up on two homicide charges for his 911 call. Crawford died in a hail of police bullets, and a female shopper fleeing the police gunfire had a heart attack and died.

Makes sense to me.

Regarding the upcoming Gun Rights Policy Conference.

I have been asked by several folks if I will be attending the upcoming Gun Rights Policy Conference in Chicago. The answer is, no, I won't, for a variety of perfectly good reasons. First, I lack the resources and must gather more to accomplish the much greater tasks ahead of me in Colorado and Connecticut come October-November. Second, I have a lot of writing and editing before I make those trips so I really don't have the time. Third, I think having a "Gun Rights Policy Conference" in Rahm Emmanuel's anti-firearm kingdom -- thereby enriching the city's coffers -- is at least a contradiction in terms. Fourth, at the last GRPC I attended in 2012 Alan Gottlieb ordered my mic turned off when I had the temerity to ask, in the middle of all the pro-Romney triumphalism, what they were going to when Romney lost -- a possibility that they did not admit. Later that night I had the first of two small strokes. To say that I would be as welcome as a skunk under the front pew on Sunday morning would be an understatement. I make the prags nervous. Who needs that excrement? There are bigger fish to fry and I've still got to catch them. So, as much as I want to see some of you Midwestern Three Percenters, I'm going to have to pass.

True enough.

MSNBC poll provides opportunity to demonstrate grassroots vs. Astroturf

A gun poll on MSNBC asking if Kroger should “allow” shoppers to carry handguns has backfired on the “progressive” media channel. At this writing, 84 percent of approximately 28,000 poll respondents have answered “Yes,” many, as The Federalist Papers noted on Saturday, leaving comments that “supported an honest citizen’s right to keep and bear arms.”
